Popped in as the other cafes in the area seemed a touch out of date, and Country Heart Cafe seemed a bit more modern and youthful.Service friendly, prompt. Pleasantly surprised with the menu, everything sounded great, Opted for the housemade beans and my partner with the fritters. Absolutely phenomenal. SO delicious and filling, the avocado on top is a very nice touch, adds some creaminess. I also added haloumi onto mine and was very pleased. A lot of places usually are stingy with the haloumi, so I was pretty stoked to get a generous amount. Partner loved his fritters, very generous portion sizes.Personally not a fan of the coffee blend, but I had a sip of my partners wet Chai and it was delicious so I'll get that next time. Will definitely be back!
Breakfast here for the second time this morning, I must have forgot to review it last time as it was some time ago. Seated with water and menus brought over. Basic menu with a good selection of dishes to cater for most. Coffee and food order taken quickly. A really nice comfy cafe with a few regulars in there, always a good sign. Bircher muesli and poached eggs with chorizo and mushrooms on sour dough ordered. Coffee came out quickly and it was very good. Food followed shortly after and it was also very good. The chorizo was a bit bland to my taste, but everything was well cooked and presented. No pepper grinders on the table, this is something that is inexpensive and a nice touch. Overall very good, will certainly return. Well located, right across the road from the station in Bryce Ave, well worth a visit.
Homely cafe that has food to make you feel good! I throughly enjoyed my visit recently. Lots of food options, most of it seems to be house made which is the best!
