OMG what a little gem. Great ambiance and service. Try the espresso martini its really good and the food we just couldn't stop eating. If spicy food is your thing they have some great options
Came back here after a not so good experience with their Yum Cha. Crystal the manager was very kind enough to invite us back and give us a voucher to spend. I must say so glad we did. The food was absolutely incredible as well as the service. Want to thank The Publican for their generosity in inviting us back and letting us try their food again. Can not wait to bring some more friends down to give it a go. Thanks again guysđđť
Found this hidden gem in Mornington town. Great asian fusion restaurant and fine cocktails bar at the same place. A bit pricey, pick wisely from small to large dishes to fulfill your dinner.
With the array of eateries in Mornington, you are always spoilt for choice but Ms Banks delivers an Asian fusion menu that is next level!
I was lucky enough to try their new menu at their launch and I was in love with the variety on offer. The steak was a favourite, along with the fall of the bone ribs!
A must try if you are in the Mornington area for a more modern take on your usual pub.
I also highly recommend the espresso martinis đ
Asian infused menu, and a big open area inside. We sat out front with the gorgeous street view.
Staff were attentive, and the food was prompt.
I really enjoyed the small plates, especially the crisp soft shell grab.
Ms Banks is a modern Asian fusion restaurant serving up an array of delicious dishes- have to say the steak was definitely my favourite, but there are a lot of heavy contenders like the karaage chicken wings and ceviche. Their cocktails are perfect - definitely try the espresso and their passionfruit concoction. Need to go back and make my way through the list

Ms Banks is such a great Asian fusion restaurant inside the pub! Itâs a little way for me to travel but worth it!
My favourite dish is the Salt n Pepper Tofu!! There are a few other veggie options on the menu and many can be made vegan if you ask the chef. They are accomodating!
If you like a cocktail you must try the signature Ms Banks Espresso Martini! So creamy and tasty, wow!
I have a âSweet Toothâ....not apologising for it, but it can be very discriminatory when sampling certain dishes that have preprogrammed taste expectations.
On that basis I have to say I had just about given up on finding a âGoodâ Coconut Rice here in the Land of Oz....until I chanced upon the âPublicanâ Asian Fusion restaurant in Main St Mornington last Monday.
Sat down at a table...picked up a menu, and the first
thing that hit my âsweet-tooth tragics eye was âCoconut Riceâ....
(Yeh, Yeh, I know, you can get coconut rice anywhere....but not Good Coconut Rice...like âGoodâ Fried Rice... ya really gotta look for it)
Ordered a bowl and found myself in âFoodieâ Heaven....best Coconut Rice Iâve tasted this side of the âMacau Plaza Hotelâ in Macau
The supporting menu at the Publican is chocka with other brilliant dishes, and we had an outstanding meal there, but if you too get off on the sweeter end of the wrap sheet I strongly recommend getting your A into G and making your way to Mornington for a real âtaste sensationâ

Great find! Very friendly staff, yummy food, great atmosphere/decor. We had tapas to share between 6 adults and an item each off the lunch menu. It was like a flavour explosion! Very happy with everything overall! We Would return again and again next time Iâm in Mornington!!
Just attended the Publican (Ms Banks) for lunch and it was delicious! Staff were friendly and nothing a hassle. We shared a few of the share dishes. The calamari, edamamis and chicken boas were yummm!!! lunch specials were great value and all very tasty. Will definitely be back to try more on the menu.
Fun, tasty and memorable. Great atmosphere ...especially recommended for date nights. The manager Sarah is very professional and friendly. Great recommendations from all staff members. Was always tended to promptly. Waterfall beef packed a delicious punch!! Mmm the crab croquette too. Enjoy my food coma as I write this review before dessert!
Went here for a meal and were delighted. It's an interesting vibe and the food was fantastic without being over the top expensive. We had an appetizer, a small plate and a share plate between two adults and it was quite enough. Highly recommended.
The environment is good. Very unique place(Former bank back in 110 yrs ago). Food are very nice and well presented. The Singapore noodle is too salty, other foods especially the pork belly are all very tasty. Strongly recommend Espresso Matini, very nice.

Come down you'll have a cracking time, food is beyond amazing best in Melbourne by far, shame about the view. Came to see Tom Gleason on the saddest stage I've ever seen! If I turned up for a gig here I'd just go home and reassess my life, the bar is in front of the stage! I mean really it is the saddest sight I've ever seen. All I can say is, he'd better be funny but he might not be after going on that stage, he will probably cry himself to sleep after playing such a poor venue. I can't believe they have bands here, there is only enough room for two people to perform never mind a whole band! I would rather kill myself than play in thisvery sad poor excuse of a 'venue', very sad
