The portion sizes are generous l, the staff are friendly and accommodating the food is to die for and on top of all that! The view and place is beautiful
Ordered family pack for four adults. Portion so generous and we couldn't finish it. End up have to take away the remaining and continue eating on our journey. The fish is fresh, buttered very crispy, potato cake and chips very nice! Will recommend to others
BEST F&C EVER! Great lunch choice at mornington beach. The fish are really fresh and the batter is very crispy~ My favourite one is the fried calamari ring here. Very nice and chewy!
Dropped by for a pit stop to refuel while making our way down the Peninsula a while ago. Enjoyed our seafood basket that tasted fresh and came with a decent portion. The crust was not too thick which was great!
Was showing my relatives the beautiful beaches in Victoria and what better way than with beachside fish and chips. We ordered the family pack and the lunch pack. The fish and chips were crispy. Dim sims and potato cakes were also crispy. Serving size was very generous. Overall it was above average.
Last year when I ate here the batter for the fish was too thick and oily and our potato cakes were really chewy. Recently I came to Mornington with the rest of my family and we tried your food and I'd definitely rate it a 10/10. The fish was beautiful and the chips tasted really good! Keep up the good work guys.
We recently moved to Mount Martha and this is the best fish and chips we've had since we moved over. Grilled Fish was fantastic - lightly crumbed and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend if you're down Main Street.
Bought the fisherman's basket, the flake was delicious, crumbed and cooked perfectly and was not a tiny piece like so many fish and chips shops today, the crab sticks and scallops were fine with good batter but the potato cakes were a little over cooked and the chips were rather dry and burnt tasting also...not sure if the oil is to blame or cheap potato but I enjoyed the flake so much I can let the other stuff slide. Also it's worth mentioning the serving size was good, enough for 2 of us share with leftovers.
We decided to get takeaway fish and chips and chill on a park bench overlooking Mornington pier.
We had the pack for two, we got two grilled whiting, 2 potato cakes, 2 dim sims, and min chips, and swapped the 2 crab sticks for 2 calamari rings. We added aioli and tartare sauce for a total $22, overall the food was good, no complaints.
This is the best grilled fish in Melbourne! The service was super friendly , highly recommend this shop and it's great location to the park.
