we're local and have had drinks at Arena's deli. On this occassion we went for lunch and got surprised it is spacious inside. The owners are lovely, you are taken cared of right away. Service is great and Food is delicious! I love my lengugine pasta and my partner loved his lasagna Coffees great too
This deli has awesome coffee and Italian authenticity. Joe has been running the place since forever, and is unapologetic about superb food and traditional values, serving regulars with dry humour, and not suffering fools. He provides employment to young people whose skills gradually improve. If you are in a hurry, let them know: they'll do their best. This is a real, old fashioned deli in sparkling chrome and glass, with excellent foodstuffs. Smile!
Coffee was nice. Generous portions of simple Italian food at a fair price. Many super old people eating here, it’s a popular place with the oldies, or maybe there is a nursing home across the road?
A little taste of Italy and a whole lot more. Try the wild mushroom risotto, one of the great sandwiches with Italian delicatesses, and of course the coffee, you won't be disappointed. It's one of my regular places and I am never disappointed. Friendly staff too.
I am from Canberra and visiting from Canberra for a couple of weeks. Arena's cafe is a warm welcoming and very dog friendly place to have a coffee or a light meal. The food is delicious and of a very high standard, which is cheap considering that it is in the wealthiest suburb in Sydney. The staff are polite, friendly and very professional. I really enjoy their coffee in he morning while I read the morning paper. Do yourself a favour and go to Arena's to meet Joseph and his delightful team of chefs and barister's. You won't be disappointed.
Quite pricey but the selection gives you a little taste of Italy! I wish I have all the money and time to try most of their salads and spices - truly appetizing. We were here for just 15 minutes, they do not have internet connection and we really badly needed it then.
Great breakfast this morning. Four of us and all food was wonderful. I had the BLAT. Big and tasty with aioli sauce and lots of bacon. Liz's omelette was large and tasty.
