My default local cafe if I want a coffee and some ace baked stuff. It is some of the most reliably great coffee in this part of the lower north shore (they serve Single O beans). The baked goods here are really the main attraction - stupendous breads, croissants, sausage rolls, etc. the pork sausage roll is truly superb (goes great with their home made relish*; just say yes and pay them the extra for it). It is easy to get sticker shock here but whatever it’s really good and totally worth it.
Random points:
- there is a surcharge if you use Apple Pay, which makes me sad
- the bags of Single O beans they sell are reasonably priced; this is a good option if you make coffee at home
- there are some *ludicrously* expensive items for sale in the fridge
- they make the BEST hot cross buns ever
- everyone is nice, chill, and friendly. A great vibe.

LOVE this place! Everything is delicious!!! I live further away and came to buy my favorite seeded bread but as it was sold out they offered me a delicious focaccia bread. Outstanding service and keeps me coming back (40min drive but always worth it!) I always stock up on the feta and kale rolls which are amazing!!
Berkelo serves amazing bread and yummy breakfasts. They are organic and have a lot of options for gluten intolerant folks. Coffee is decent and service is awesome. Staff smile (This is the best bit :) )

Seriously one of the best places to enjoy sweet treats. Loved the super flaky and buttery chocolate croissant. Lovely service and atmosphere.

I found this place by random and it was such a nice experience. I didn't know what to order! So many options - some of them vegeterian ones. 💚 Never heard about beetroot roll - had it, loved it. Very warm, little local bakery. I can definitely recommend it.
I had a vegetarian pie with tomato chutney, and afterwards I had a banana cake with butter and a coffee, and it was all excellent.
