Had a few hours to kill in Mt Barker and ended up here for lunch. The food was great, as was the coffee. Great GF and vegan options and very friendly staff.

Went here for the first time today. AMAZING! Def what the town needs. Owner told me they had recently changed their menu last 3-5months. ALOT of GF Meals, beautiful vegetarian salads and patties, quiches, pies etc. just hired a new raw chef so a lot of healthy yummy treats to come I would say! Had a wonderful experience and will def be back!!!!! Welcome feedback from customers which is lovely to voice your feed back! Well done :)
This loverly European style cafe is located on the main street shopping area. On walking inside you could be in a cafe in Italy, Comfortable dining area inside with tables and umbrellas for alfresco dinning outside. the decor, the scent of the coffee, the fresh variety of food on the menu, the cakes. People relaxing and enjoying their coffee/lunch. All of this creating that European ambience we enjoy. My choice of food, a delightful tasting local made wood fired pie, garnished with fresh salad, very appetizing, finishing with a great tasting, well made coffee. All of this was delivered to my table, without any delays. The Cafe was busy which is understandable, yet the service was friendly, prompt, professional. Thoroughly satisfying lunch.
Dropped in yesterday for lunch with the dogs. Had a Caesar Roll which was beautiful and a very nice Skinny Cappuccino. Pleasant our doors location, friendly staff, fast service, only thing that was missing was somewhere to tie up the dogs and the water bowl was empty.
This has been my fave go-to coffee shop in Mt Barker for years now. Recent visit with my bookgroup. Great food, manager/owner is amazing. One of our meals didn't come out until the rest of our group had finished eating. Because of the lateness, the cost of the meal was refunded. I feel this was wonderful and attentive service.
We had a group of 8. The cafe is very small, so large groups may get a little squishy, but it is a very cosy space.

Atmosphere is lovely, the fire is great, service is always really good. Food is very nice and luv the hot chilli chocolate.
Best loose leaf chai in a pot, and spinach n cheese roll I have had in Adelaide! And wonderful staff-keep it up guys!
