Expensive! But I didn't mind since the food was absolutely delicious and I am definitely coming back to try everything on the menu. Members of the staff were very polite and friendly.
We had a romantic lunch featuring tempura lamb brains, wagyu steak and juicy lamb cutlets. Food was okay, however service and ambience was top notch. Take your bae, perfect place to create beautiful memories.
Went to Lurleens Todays for lunch with a couple of friends. The restaurant was gorgeous , great view , the service was amazing ! The food was delish I had the rib fillet. The only bad thing about it was that the food took around 40 min to come out .
Wow! The food is AMAZING!!!! When you think of Sirromet you first think WINE! How wrong is that!?? Great food, great wine and if you're there when there's live music; that's always great too. I really need to come back soon.
Had a great experience with restaurant Lurleen's for lunch. The service was good and the location is beautiful. The food is good quality and excellent portions. I'd happily come back again (actually cane back for breakfast which was also good)!
They specialise more then just wines, their iced coffee is full of flavour. Very well presented and great to just six back, relax and enjoy the views!
A restaurant in a gorgeous setting with delicious, beautifully presented food. The portions are huge for fine dining standards, we could only fit in entree and main! I had the ultimate smoked salmon for entree (simply amazing, a must order) and Tuscan style porchetta for main (could have been more tender but otherwise a tasty dish). Other half had king prawn special for entree (on point) and roasted loin of pork (a highlight, ridiculously tender!).
Given the winery location, the restaurant is generous with wine tastings. We were choosing between two bottles and they brought out a tester of both for everyone at the table.
Service was great overall, though we did wait a little to order. All in all, a wonderful restaurant which we are returning to for breakfast this weekend!
We tried a 3 course meal and was a little hit and miss. Entrees came out quickly and tasted good.
Mains we had Pork belly was nicely cooked and favoured plus the salmon, which was pretty dry and over cooked and lacked in flavour.
Service was pretty quick and snappy. Would be a returning customer when the piggy bank gets a little bigger as the dishes aren't the cheapest.
I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant looks wonderful. It has a wonderful atmosphere, even if it is slightly noisy.
The food is lovely. As is the service.
We all decided to go with the recommended wines for each dish. This pushed us to taste wines we wouldn't necessarily go for and I am very glad we did.
The seafood is divinely fresh and wonderful.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to everyone. They have a vegetarian menu but not vegan meals.
We dined here on a Saturday evening with some friends. We had been wanting to eat here for a while, but it’s location makes it a little difficult/expensive if you want to take full advantage of the Sirromet wines. After roping in some friends to share the cost of a Taxi home (Uber wouldn’t pick up from Mount Cotton) we booked ourselves in.
Having quite high expectations for Lurleens, we were not disappointed, fine dining style food with casual dining style portions. In fact we were all impressed by the size of all our dishes (Entrees, Mains and desserts).
Service was generally OK, though a little under par for a fine dining type experience, the waiters were friendly and help full and our water and wine glasses topped up accordingly. My only real disappointment was having to pay a 2% credit card charge, it felt like they were taking advantage a little.
Overall, it exceeded our expectations and as such would definitely return.
We had an absolutely delightful Christmas Day lunch at Lurleen's. The staff were very friendly and we were well looked after by Ian. Delicious food, well spaced out and good sized portions without being oversized. Lunch included wines, beer and soft drink.
Excellent Venue,
The staff are awesome all the way from the waitresses to the lady in charge.
The made our Valentines lunch very enjoyable
Absolutely recommended! Amazing food, excellent quality! Nice place! Breathtaking view! More importantly great staff! What else would you want from a restaurant? Four of us went there for a breakfast, and I can say we were all completely satisfied with the service provided. If you are going there for a breakfast, don’t miss the Mexican Benedict, or Healthy Delight! There is a great range of Benedicts available! The portion of the food was also very good. Will go back for sure!
Great place with family to go.
Fantastic food and wine.2-3 restaurant each serving different styles Food.
