Very good and quite large meals. Self serve salad and roast well presented. Unfortunately there was a tribe of unsupervised children who were having a wonderful time treating it like a pig trough , piling excessive amounts of food on small plates despite signage.
We visited this place whilst in Mount Gambier recently. Everything from the food to the service was 10/10, couldn’t fault a thing. We were also pleasantly surprised by a quiz night which just added to our experience. The host was amazing and really engaged the crowd, even included us which was awesome as we are not locals. Will definitely be back and refer anyone visiting there.
Today we had a very good experience at Western Tavern in Mount Gambier.
What most got our attention was how incredible Mrs. Julie was with us and actually the all team was incredible.
Thank you so much, probably tomorrow it will be our last day here in Mount Gambier, but we will be here tomorrow again!!!

Staff were friendly. Food was really nice. We all had chicken schnitzels, they were really nice, salad bar was nice & fresh with a mixture of salads & vegetables 👌

Venue, service, beer/drinks and food were all very good. Meals were huge servings, quality was good pub grub and priced very well. Only negative was the sauces. Between us we had the creamy garlic (with the prawns), diane, pepper and normal old gravy all low budget packet stuff which has dropped their score by a star.
Apart from that definately worth a second and third visit when we're back in town.
