Absolutely fantastic cafe in Mt Lawley. I used to come here often nearly 10 years ago and I loved it then.... I haven't visited in many years and had the chance to visit today. I tell you what... The menu has changed slightly but the food is still incredible (and it's a little different from the regular fare), the coffee is still to die for, and to top it off the staff are very friendly and attentive. A truly great cafe to come and relax in and enjoy truly satisfying food at reasonable prices.

Place is set out nice, that's where it ends. Ordered big breakfast baked beans cold, ordered pineapple juice and it was watered down and I know pineapple juice. Trying to get it pass me haha don't think so won't be bringing my friends here again

Went there for lunch with my family. We ordered: Cuban Breakfast (which is the Cuban version of the Big Breakfast I suppose) Eggs on Toast (with an addition of Smoked Salmon) All good. Service was good Coffee good as well

I was pleasantly surprised with the omelette portion and fillings. This filling breakfast had spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and avacardo with the right amount of bread to go with it. Made my morning 👌

Coffee was good and they had decent sizes, ice chocolate was also great and it had lots of ice cream. Would highly recommend the egg and bacon roll, it is $12 but worth the lot! The staff are very friendly and service is great: staff came to check if the order was a-OK and if everything had come etc. Music was in the background, so you could easily talk to people without shouting. A great coffee shop, would recommend!

Great friendly personalised service.... got to have the food! I've been here many times and love it. Sit out door, sit indoor, chill out or chat... this is a comfy local spot with consistently great coffee and food! This is an older photo but you get the idea.... eat here ♡

Great place to have breakfast. The staff are very friendly. The food is excellent - Had scrambled eggs and bacon with added mushrooms. The mushrooms were incredibly tasty. Will eat there again for sure.

Great Service, great coffee, even better food everytime. Staff are helpful and the menu is different to all the other run of the mill places in Mt Lawley, decor is simple but more than made up for by the prices and lack of pretentiousness.

Aesthetically not Toorak but who cares - wow what great food, service and coffee. Brilliant tasty fresh produce. Simple things like excellent olive oil. Coffee rich and full of choc flavour. Best of all a Melbourne prices in Perth!

Come to Caffissimo  very oftenfor breakfast. We like the way the food is presented, the excellent service , and the friendliness of all the staff. They really know what service is all about. Good choices for all day breakfast.

Good service and atmosphere. Coffee was great. Ordered the avocado but was disappointed with the portion size, tasted great though just needed more.

Caffissimo is a small cafe located on Beaufort Street in Mount Lawley. It is east to blend in with number of cafes in Mount Lawley but this one still manages to stick out on a street corner with outdoor seating. We arrived for a late breakfast around 12.15pm on a Saturday afternoon, picked up a menu and grabbed a table for two indoors as it was quite a chilly afternoon.

My favourite breakfast haunt, been every Friday now for 3 months and their menu has never let me down. Great service with a real friendly crew of people running the show. This morning with my usual Mocha went on recommendation for the "Cuban Brekkie" Poached eggs, Spanish chorizo, mixed beans, pulled pork shoulder with pancetta. Topped with condiments from the table such as Tabasco and HP sauce, It might sound a little heavy but i can guarantee it was delicious. I walked in from the drizzling rain this morning feeling damp and gloomy, I left feeling warm and content.

Stopped in here for the first time late today (Sat 23/4) for a quick snack. The atmosphere is really warming and comfortable. Warm apple pie and a lime tart were on the menu, so that was an easy decision! The cakes were delicious, but honestly, the two girls behind the counter were lovely and very accommodating which really topped off our time there. We'll definitely be back!

Sunday breakfast, needed to try out a new local (I'll work my way through them all, eventually!). Caffissimo always looks busy, so I thought I'd give it a crack. <br/><br/>Really nice vibe, friendly staff upon ordering. We got chorizo beans (according to the menu, served with pulled pork shoulder - but more on that later) and a bacon & egg roll with a potato cake. A couple of coffees too. We were warned there'd be about a 20 minute wait on food, which I always appreciate the heads-up on ..  so you can plan for that 2nd coffee if necessary!<br/><br/>Coffees were delivered quickly despite the busyness and both were very good. <br/><br/>When the food arrived (exactly 20 minutes later - right on time!), the bacon and egg roll was spot on. I noticed my chorizo beans seemed to be sans-pulled pork shoulder, so I quickly asked the waitress if perhaps it'd been forgotten by the kitchen. She took the plate away to check, and then returned telling me that it was already in the dish, all stirred into the beans. I was happy to accept that at face-value and tucked in. <br/><br/>I promise you, there was not a single bit of pulled pork on that plate… so I felt a little ripped off and also really disappointed I'd been fibbed to. It wouldn't be too hard to offer an alternative if you're out of pulled pork - maybe a little side of bacon? Why lie? I didn't raise it again with the staff, as I'd already had one stab at sending it back for the missing ingredient and I didn't really want to chance pissing off the chef!<br/><br/>It was a bit of a dampener on an otherwise really tasty breakfast, with friendly warm service. My partner really enjoyed his bacon and egg roll, and the beans and chorizo were tasty with a little bit of kick.

Had bfast here on Sunday and was blown away by the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. The eggs were cooked perfectly my cappuccino was great and my partner really enjoyed his 'cuban breaky''<br/><br/>It was so refreshing to have a meal in cool cafe that is not a hipster hangout like some of the locales further up beaufort st.<br/><br/>We will definitely be going back!

Have to register to write a review of this coffee shop. The cake and coffee were below average. Lemon meringue was the worst I had ever. on top of that, the staff member proudly charged me 10% public holiday surcharge and didn't show me the tiny surcharge sign hidden under the table until I asked. Never go back again! <br/>

I was a fan of the setting, menu, service and food!<br/>A menu that has a lot of great choices is a great menu. <br/>There is lots of seating, indoor and out and the cafe is light and inviting!

Super friendly staff, delicious meals and great atmosphere. Love this place for a Saturday brunch.

Worst service. My friend went to order breaky and coffee and was deciding what he wanted. The woman turned around and said make your mind up and he said mind your manners she then said maybe you should go and eat somewhere else. He still ordered his food but it came out cold. <br/>Very rude and arrogant staff and would not reccomend going there.

Lovin' it. The owner of this cafe sure knows how to cook! i ordered a simple eggs holandaise with mushroom and it came just how i wanted my breakfast to be. he only added olive oil and chopped onions to the mushroom, and yeah they worked very well together. that sourdough bread down the bottom was as crispy as it gets. i won't go here every week because i still feel it's quite pricey for breakfast, but when i suddenly have that crave for delicious eggs and mushroom, this is my first place in my head.<br/><br/>the coffee is how i want it - creamy and consistent. there are times when they burn my milk, but most of the time it's delish! if you feel like chilling out for a bit and in need of a snack, go for their banana bread. it tastes even better if you like it well toasted.

Ticks all the boxes....worst Coffee, worst Service, zero atmosphere. Why the hell do your staff wear stupid oversize sunglasses behind the counter?? Hungry Jacks defiantly does better breakfast
Andres Rome
Actually i am impressed! Good coffee! And the breakfasts!! WOW! You can see they are using good things and serving what they offer! I love it!

Worst coffee and service in Mount Lawley. Hands down worst coffee in Mount Lawley.. I think Hungry Jacks could do a better job. Recommend going to Bossman or Cantina for a real one.
Dee
Hands down worst coffee ever. Totally un-drinkable. Will never be going back.
AB
Waste of time & money. Stopped for a coffee as Bossman was closed (Sunday). Worst service at the counter, no smiles from any of the other staff and below average coffee. Won't be back!

LIKE!. Had coffee there before and thoroughly enjoyed it, decided to go with a friend for brunch today and it was great!<br/><br/>The waitresses were friendly, helpful and attentive, they ran out of bread but they offered other options and said no extra charge. <br/><br/>Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back:)

BEST breakfast ever!. No joke. BEST. <br/>Jackie Brown and the Mushroom Breakfast. Oh my god. I dream of these. And the staff are always lovely. Thank you Caffissimo (you should throw in the franchise and do your own awesome thing)! xx

The best breakfast and coffee in Mt Lawley by far! Always friendly and great service.

Not only we were pleasantly surprised by the generous serves, we were also huge fans of the coffee. The scrambled eggs were some of the best we've had too. Will definitely return!

BEST BREAKFAST EVER!. Been going to Caffissmo for years always go for breakfast on the weekend with family, the owners are always changing up the menu which gives you more of a variety to chose from, his coffee taste amazing and the service is great would recommend to many people who haven't been there for breakfast!!
Tequila_Mokinbird
Good honest food providing value for money in a cafe strip that's often over priced. We came for breakfast, weren't overwhelmed with the menu but were both happy with our meals, coffee and smoothy. No frills but no complaints either.
Straight Panda
Excellent coffee made to perfection. Asked for a decaf.. Was very specific about the froth. Staff were very friendly and obliging and coffee turned out perfectly.
Food Dragon
Breakfasts here are great! I had the berry pancakes and a dish with salmon and potatoes cakes. Every Saturday morning my hubby got the omelette and often couldn't finish it, it's big! Would recommend cad gossip for breakfast but haven't had lunch or dinner there. Always found staff very friendly, they always chatted to us once they got to know us. Sadly don't go there as often now, only for a special treat.. Moved house& paying more rent!

Awesome staff. Thursday October 18 Lunch<br/><br/>Love the great staff and their helpful service<br/>Love the set up of the place<br/>Super tasty salad choices<br/>Ample parking all round<br/>Delicious juice and coffee experience
ANGRY COFFEE MAN
Appalling.. Did anybody else suffer a preternatural seizure from entering this place? Filthy tables, horrible burnt/bitter coffee, and service that is utterly woeful.<br/><br/>The hygiene in this place is atrocious, and the fridge houses stale cakes.
Mirna.B
Top Notch!. Great coffee and heaps of food choices. My soy latte is never lumpy or scorched. <br/><br/>It's the only place I'll drink coffee in Perth. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and fast service.

Unforgettable..for all the wrong reasons. Having enjoyed food and coffee at Caffissimo in the past, I can honestly say, I recently encountered the worst cafe experience due to the rudeness of the owner who served me. <br/>Several weeks ago I ordered a decaf coffee and enquired of the price of coffee beans to purchase. I was told by the owner "you couldn't afford them and it would not be cost effective". After some negotiation, I was hesitantly given a price.<br/>My cup of coffee arrived and as usual, I checked that it was decaf. The waitress was lovely and said no, it was a mistake and would recify that. Shortly after the owner approached me insisting I did not order decaf. She was rude and dismissive. I wrote it off as a bad evening for her.<br/>I returned to buy beans and order another coffee, served by a pleasant friendly cafe worker. Within moments, the owner appeared from an outside table and in a condescending and humiliating manner, read through my order written on the counter, stating every word the order and asking is this what I want. She went on to abruptly tell me my cup of coffee was very expensive and I better have it right. <br/>Astounded I enquired if she was referring to the previous encounter some weeks ago regarding the "mix up of order". She continued to escalate, humiliating me and the company I was with, and only relented when I told her I had never been to cafe and had such a bad experience.<br/>I read all the reviews and had it not been for this unbelievable experience, I would have given it a good review.<br/>On principal, I would never go there again and can only hope this does not happen to anyone else.

This is a little mountain of eggs (5-6 eggs), spinach and feta cheese. Of course you get mid size turkish bread. My wify could not finish it. Cost is $15. I liked it! Tasty and felt full afterwards.

Coffee depends on who is making. I've had very good coffee (long black) there and terrible coffee. One I had the other week was so bad I only had a few sips. The guy who makes the good coffee doesn't appear to work there on a Saturday- the few times I've been there on a Sat the quality ranges from mediocre to bad.

Caffissimo Coffee. Living in mount lawley for over 30 years there comes a time in one's life (mine) a good cup of coffee does not cut the mustard anymore. Lucky for me I start to visit caffissimo in mount lawley. I have included a photo of a coffee I ordered...This cuts my mustard  There are a tonne of coffee shops along beaufort street, I have tried them all, believe me they aren't all what they are cracked up to be. I started to frequent caffissimo nearly 2 months ago and will not go anywhere else. This owner/operated coffee shop makes me feel welcome every time I go there. The staff remember my name and the coffee I drink every time....that puts a smile on my face  (Long Mach, topped up) The service is fast and friendly and the food represents excellent value for money. Its warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. I've met some great people there that I can truly call my friends. The place is clean and tidy and I love the FREE Wi-FI.

Great service, delicious salad. My Moroccan chicken salad was delicious, the dressing was perfect. The chef came to our table to apologise for the wait...we hadnt even noticed as it was only 5 mins from when we had ordered!
