Went here for dinner for the first time, the food was nice and the service was good. Really enjoyed everything, will definitely come back with the fam again.
The yum cha here is pretty good, it is located inside the Mounties club and it offered 20% off for members which was a pretty good deal. The restaurant interior was definitely upper class compared to the other yum cha restaurants that I've been to. The food was quite delicious and the pricing was quite reasonable. It doesn't get too full which is a lot better than most other yum cha places out there when you have to get a ticket and wait for your number to be called which is super annoying and can take a very long time! I recommend this place.
At the moment I cannot understand they 2.2/5 rating that this place currently has. Interior ambience is beautiful incorporating modern and traditional. Seating is abundant but not cramped with comfy chairs a nice change from what you would usually expect from a yum cha place with crammed in seating. Lots of friendly and helpful multilingual staff. Food is very good and not very oily. Highly recommend the steamed pork buns (like beautiful savoury clouds that melt in your mouth) and also the pork shumai which has shittake mushrooms inside. Dessert was good, I had the sweet tofu which wasn't overly sweet like other places and quite refreshing on the tongue, my sister had the mango pudding, this was slightly disappointing because last time I came the pudding was great and full of mango flavour however this time it was more pudding than mango and the texture was a bit off. Other than the pudding everything was fantastic and highly recommend my fellow foodies in the west to come try Johnny Fongs, members Mon-Fri get 20% off!! P.s. was too excited for the food couldn't get good photos before it was all devoured!
I have to be honest, I was quite scared when seeing the bad reviews online but my experience exceeded my expectations. The restaurant had an amazing ambience with an open kitchen with a clean and fresh look.
The service itself was amazing! All staff was very tentative and brought food and sides to us immediately.
The food was superb! It was steaming hot, fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the translucent wrappers on the prawn dumplings alongside the chive and garlic dumplings as it was chewy and perfect in my eyes. Another favourite included the steamed pork spare ribs as it was fatty but not too fatty.
Easy parking, clean and fresh ambience, plenty of seating. We came for yum cha and we were pleasantly surprised. Most dishes were well done and the range was ok but not vast. I do think some issues from earlier reviews have been ironed out. Some waitresses need to learn to stop pushing dishes like a broken record.
If you are local to Liverpool, Cabramatta or somewhere in between, there's a new Chinese restaurant that opened up in Mounties and guess what, they do yumcha as well (at a reasonable price). We found out the news from mum and dad.. like every other Asian household, that's how you get the local news and goss! We decided to have dinner at Johnny Fong's to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary. The completed renovation is quite impressive, when we were searching for this place (which was where the old Coffee club was) we turned a corner and literally said 'wow' - it looks so grand, spacious, clean and inviting!
I prefer going to Johnny Fong’s where the tables are spacious and the food carts reaches you at a reasonable time. The staffs are quite friendly too! They have the silkiest tofu pudding dessert. Every time I visit my parents, instead of going to Cabramatta for yumcha (where there are usually lines out the door), I’d suggest Johnny Fong’s.
Pretty decent yum cha place. I usually go here if I'm too lazy to fight for parking in cabramatta. Good variety and tastes pretty good with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My only gripe with this place is the lack of attention if you sit far away, trolleys rarely come if you sit away from the majority of diners since the restaurant is quite large and staff are somewhat few. Still, this place is part of my regular rotation of yum cha restaurants for good reason

Nice Food, good service, elegant place. I'll back again :)
Lovely Chinese Restaurant and food are nice.
I would like to give a full 5 stars if not because of the over priced even after 10% off for presenting a membership card.
Food is great, I mean Yum Cha. Dinner also great but terrible with portion. I ordered a fish from a tank, asking for a good size for 4 people (but we have only 2), but do not bring a live fish to our table. By the way, what we got was a little fish that I can finish it in 3 mouth full. Anyway, good food.
Services! Great! You ask anything and they'll bring it for you.
Price is major problem. I don't think I like to fill my tummy and my partner with 150 bucks just for lunch. Special dish from the kitchen for yum-cha size is 19.80 dollars. I think that is too much for me. So, we cannot come here often enough as we wished.
