Was looking for a place in the area to catch up with some friends and came across the place. Ample parking, easy and central location for everyone. Great range of food options and kitchen was very accommodating and catered to our dietaries. Good ambiance, not too noisy and kids were entertainment with colouring packs! Staff were really friendly and always smiling! We had a great time and would definitely come back!
Great wine, food and service. We had the pork belly, the burger, apple crumble and chocolate pralines. The wine was the mclaren vale Shiraz. Could not fault anything! Highly recommend will be back here soon!
The food here is great. We ordered medium cooked steak and it was delicious. Love their salt and pepper calamari as a side dish. Staff and service are great! We would love to come here again.

Their lunch special is terrific value! Home made gnocchi, slow cooked lamb, salmon - all well executed. Desserts looked fab - chai creme brulee and lemon tart - very enjoyable.
All coffees served hot - just ask Danak ( silent 'k') to make them!
Add in vouchers and this food is exceptional value. Only disappointment was, that they are no longer BYO.
Worth the drive to Mt. Waverley ( easy parking).
Scouring Mt Waverley for epic coffee has finally led us to Overflow café. We've been here for two nice wedding receptions over the years...
But, how was the café today?
Our companion today was a LIFEGUARD at a local swimming pool.
(Lifeguards KNOW good coffee. They NEED good coffee. Lives are at stake here people!). We came here as we had important matters to discuss...
Anyway.....the atmosphere was relaxed, classy, yet cosy.
Service was very good.
The coffee according to the LIFEGUARD was missing something... we agree. It was quite OK but nothing memorable.
We recommend the Overflow café as a good place for deep/meaningful chats about "Life, the Universe and Everything"!
Had a coffee meeting here after the breakfast rush. Fast attentive service. Good coffee and quiet atmosphere. Perfect. Overall very happy and will return.
This cafe is attached to a hotel, and is at a very random location. I wouldn't have come here without an Entertainment Book voucher, but I'm so glad I gave it a try because the food was fantastic! We ordered several dishes to share: sliders, tacos, dips and chips. Everything was delicious!
Have been here 5 to 6 times now and haven't been disappointed with the food yet. Last time had the risotto with mushrooms and duck confit with Grana Padano.. Really nice combination and came out very splendid. During one Christmas, had a very nice meal and a nice combination dessert plate to share. Easy to find a table and the atmosphere is good. The service has always been impeccable. Actually don't have any negative words to say which is always a plus.. Also, they have a rather extensive wine list...

Trendy cafe in the suburbs. I lived in the area for 15 years, this café is the reason we stopped coming to the venue. I had a meal in the restaurant a couple of months ago and was very impressed, we tried the café last week - fantastic! still a bit noisy but it's a café after all. food was delicious, my burger was amazingly good. My friends shared some tapas. The two dining rooms are completely different so make sure you try both!!
This place was great. Friendly staff and the food was excellent. Pork belly entrée, eggplant parmigiana main, Atlantic Salmon main, creme brulee dessert and passion fruit mousse dessert were all exceptional dishes. Highly recommended.
