The food here is top notch!! Doesn't matter what you order, it will be great. Highly recommend the asparagus and persian fetta tart. Coffee is also good. I have taken a few points off my rating for customer service. This is actually pretty bad. The lady who took my order muttered "well, that's a great lunch!" when my 8 year old niece asked for a brownie at 2pm in the afternoon. Probably won't go back again. Too bad, I really like the food.

Cakes look lovely!
They look homemade and delicious!
Coffee wasn't too bad either, good atmosphere and service.
A good first impression to Mt Eliza.
One of the better place to go to in the village for a coffee. Probably needs one or two more staff as service is far from fast. Coffee is good most of the time but can be a little hit and miss.
One of my favourite cafes in the Village. Great coffee, delicious food and yummy treats. It's a small, intimate cafe so can get crowded. I just wish breakfast was available all day.
Big fan of this establishment and judging by the clientele, so are the locals. On a saturday morning the cafe was full and we were lucky to sneak a chair at the communal table up front.
With the dim lighting and warm vibe i will definitely make this spot a regular when in the area.
Food on display looked the goods (freshly made treats) and our coffees were great.
Can't wait to hit up some food here!
I met a friend here for lunch and ordered the Eggplant lasagne. It arrived quickly, was well presented and full of flavour! The brownie and coffee I ordered for desert were beautiful and the brownie probably the best I've ever tasted
Beautiful, generous food made with love.. The selection in Shop Ate is unbeatable, they cater for the vegetarians, the gluten-intolerant, the blokey blokes and the kids. I had a delicious warm quinoa and moroccan spiced chicken salad with pomegranate, cauliflower, eggplant and spiced greek yoghurt, it was ridiculously good. My partner ate the aptly named 'blokes pasta' a hearty, meaty, warming rigatoni with Italian chorizo, chilli and some kind of incredible tomato based sauce. You can just tell how talented the kitchen is by the mix of interesting, both modern and traditional, delicious dishes they bring out. New favourite!
Love it!. This is one of my favourite places to eat, the food is superb and the coffee spot on. The thing that always gets me every time is just how fresh the produce is.... it is SO obviously made with love! Today I had a brown rice salad with succulent marinated chicken pieces, cauliflower, kale, with gorgeous middle eastern flavours... currants and a sprinkling of dukkah YUMO ... oh and a little yoghurt dressing on the side. It is such a warm and cosy atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more accommodating or friendly! Tip off... the cake cabinet is out of this world... it changes all the time... it is hard to resist! Thanks Guy for making Mt Eliza such a special place to visit..It is an absolute joy to eat here.
I definitely will go back ! I had a great breakie there and would love to sample many other dishes and baked items on display !!! Staff were friendly and accomadating !!!
Chicken & leek pie VG. Had bite to eat on a Mon lunch and it was packed. Ordered & leek pie which was very good but seemed to take a while to come out considering it sat on shelf ready to go. Staff are friendly and the food is definitely good, will come back for sure.
