Very understated Chinese restaurant in the main part of town. Staff were so friendly and their service was above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious. Nothing was a bother… as vegetarians we were offered dishes not on the menu… we ended up having to take leftovers with us due to the serving

We had a lovely dinner with excellent service from Cindy and the staff. We were visiting from Sydney and ate the vegetable omelete, satay beef, chicken in oyster sauce, vegetables with bean curd, fried rice all tasty and with large serving sizes. We also had a bonus stew dish which was delicious.

What a special Mother's Day 2022 when far from home. Welcomed by the lovely and genuine Cindy with a complimentary drink for Mother's Day. The food was delicious and the servings generous. The service was friendly and we felt like VIP'S. Thank you, we can't recommend the Golden Dragon highly enough.
Food was very mediocre considering the good amount of reviews that they have. Fried rice was nice, garlic chicken old didn't seem fresh and chicken corn soup was a solid 6/10 seems like they used whatever parts of chicken they had.

Food was ok. Service was adequate although we had to wait rather a long time for our meals - 2 of the 3 entrees came out after 20 mins (prawn cocktail and crab cocktail both of which had way too much sauce on). Third entree (chicken and corn soup) came out about 10 mins later. Fried rice, Mongolian
The food wasn’t great. Stale prawn chips, cold dumplings, stir fry rice that had the consistency of sticky rice. The Chinese at the Golf Club is the way to go when you’re town.
Told 45mins, over an hour later it was ready, not very hot, and very over cooked. 😒 probably won't return. Not even busy when we went in to collect at 45mins. 2 people dining and 1 guy waiting. However he ordered at 5.30 and didn't get it till 7 either...
