Got takeaway from Simon King tonight. The lemon chicken was a big hit at my house. Not a big fan of battered meats but it was done very well. The chicken was tender and very tasty, probably the most enjoyable lemon chicken I have had (seems it’s my partners favourite dish and not one that I would normally order for myself). Also ordered the roast duck. Was done very well. The steamed dim sims were bursting with with flavour, best that I’ve had from a Chinese restaurant. The fried rice was nice and the combo satay was packed full of goodies.
If your reading this review and haven’t already tried their teppanyaki, I strongly recommend making a reservation. I went last year, and it was a lovely evening.
The woman on the phone when ordering takeaway was very helpful in explaining the dishes and which were the best options. The gentleman on the register upon pickup was friendly and polite.
5 stars all around. The only thing better than the food at this place is the service. Will be back very soon. Thanks
Delicious, we have just moved to the area and they have just gained a regular customer. Top notch feed, fresh ingredients and lots of meat in the dishes. Very impressive.
Rice and main course very nice quick service ,only complaint was the entree of prawn toast was terrible oily with very little prawn the worst I have ever had they need to improve that .

We dine there on a Friday night. Service very good prompt and efficient. Food was delicious and generous servings. We shared our meals and found each had a very unique taste.
Very yummy! Got as a take away and was really good! Chinese isn't normally my favourite take away but this one definitely changed my mind.
We surprise somebody doesn't like the food and services from this restaurant. Our family are one of the many loyal customers since long time ago and our kids are crazy with the crispy beef ... We reckon this is one of the best Chinese restaurant on the coast.
I have eaten chinese food all over the world and I find simon kings restaurant to be one of the best. I have taken many friends and business assiciates there for many years and never had a less than a delicious meal.
Always exceptional. Simon King never disappoints! I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and the food is always excellent. And what a great guy Simon is too! Not sure why there are any non likers out there, as this restaurant is just great. Have tried almost all the dishes. Crispy beef strips in plum sauce is always a favourite.
Best Chinese food on the coast. My family and i regulary eat at Simon Kings we were first introduced to this fantastic restaurant by my eldest daughter who moved into the area 4 years ago,we are so glad she did, as from the first time we ate there we were hooked.
The service is great, staff are very friendly and the food is second to none.
We have always loved asian food and we would recomend Simon Kings to any one.
We would say it is the best Chinese restaurant on the Sunshine Coast.
