We were the lucky last order of the day! Even though the place was packed (after a 40C day in Perth) we were served quickly and waited about 30 mins for our order. Good sized portions, not oily, nice flakey fish and shorter crispy chips which I love. $22 for 2 orders of fish and chips, one in a meal with sauce and a drink. Don't understand all the recent 1* ratings!
After reading some of the negative reviews on here I was reluctant to try Oceanside but after poor experiences at the other local fish and chip shops I thought I'd give it a go and it was good, great in fact compared to some of the other local chip shops, the price was a bit high but I don't mind that if the fish and chips are good and the sweet lips snapper I had was fantastic, nice batter and cooked well, the chips were good, not the best I've had but nothing wrong with them, much better than the local competition. I will happily go back again for more.
Great Quality fish and chips. Come here all the time from school, great place. The chips are awesome, the batter is great and the burger is unbelievable. just an awesome place.
Great place, not a huge fish fan but this place makes it actually taste good. Got our food quick, though the staff forgot the sauce we ordered so had to track back from the beach to get it. But I will be back soon!
Was a bit worried reading the reviews, however was very surprised when we tasted our meal.

We ordered a seafood basket with an extra potato scallop (quite large) & pineapple fritter , delicious!
The fish, calamari, crab stick, sea scallop & dim sim were all delicious & crispy. Chips were great, crispy & hot!
All of it wrapped in paper which is what you want from a fish & chips shop.

Best fish and chips in perth! Seriously fresh fish and the golden crispy chips are to die for.. Heads and shoulders over these 2nd rate out date, tasteless poor people fish n chip stores. JH.

Just had my 50th Birthday function this weekend and it was totally amazing! We were looked after so well. The food and staff were amazing! The DJ was just fantastic. We were grooving all night! My guests and I really enjoyed the night. Just fabulous x
The Mullaloo Beach Hotel is one of my favourite beachside places to visit. Parking is relatively plentiful but can get busy at times. The hotel caters to a range of budgets having a nice restaurant area, a more casual eating area as well as bars etc. Food here is great but we tend to go back for coffee and the sticky date pudding which comes with ice cream and swimming in caramel sauce just the way I like it. Never been let down here.
Have been for the first time, twice over the past week for different family and was very impressed. I was only in restaurant area which was clean and well presented with an amazing view of ocean. Service was on point and very friendly & fast, food was really tasty and generous servings. Good menu choice too. Would definitely recommend and will be back! Thanks for a great 2 outings so far.
Last minute decision to have my Birthday Celebration here, The Staff went out of their way to cater for all my family on our table. Very Attentive!!!!!! Special mention to Jamie for his exceptional customer service. Wow!!!! Will be back
Food was amazing really fresh. My husbands steak was really nicely cooked. Price wise it was good than other places. I was really happy with staff such a nice professional staff they have and happy to help.
Had a fantastic mothers day lunch with my wife and young son, staff were accommodating and the food was really good.
Best of all was the environment, great seats with a view, plenty of space... really enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed the experience here. Coming from the east coast, it's uncommon to see a sunset over the ocean. I wanted an ocean view and found this place and thought to enjoy a meal. I was working at Joondalup and an Uber ride to the hotel is about 15 mins.
Upstairs is the dining room and bar. The menu has plenty to choose from. By the number of patrons, it's a popular spot. The ambience is typical pub with a touch of upmarket style.
The food was appealing and nourishing and the service friendly and efficient. Burgers are not my favourite meal for dinner, but another customer's burger looked pretty good, so that's what I had. Very tasty and fresh.
I had a balcony table and was rewarded with a beautiful sunset.
