Surfing Lizard is brilliant to visit it you've got kids due to the ample seating and kids play area. The food is pretty decent and the coffee is great.
We popped into Surfing Lizard for a spot of brunch as it was one of the few places I knew that would be open on Christmas Eve (I'd seen it advertised on Facebook). There was plenty of outdoor seating in the shade to choose from.
The decor is pretty average, but it's what you'd expect from a beach-side cafe. The food, however, is great and there are some really interesting dishes on the menu. We ordered a smashed avocado and a ginger, chicken and mushroom arancini. Both were delicious and were presented really nicely.
I'll definitely be back to Surfing Lizard and will recommend it for a good brunch. It's great that they're open on public holidays, too.
Location goals! Such a stunning spot. Staff were brilliant and we efficient. Friendly too. Menu is brunch goals. Tried the Ham Hock Benedict which was epic. Ham was beautifully cooked and melt in your mouth. Eggs cooked really well. Hollandaise was beautiful. Coffee was nice and strong. The large cup was like a bowl! Exactly what I needed ! Will be back
