It's a little odd seeing mixed reviews on here. Maybe my partner and I just got lucky but we had a fabulous stay! Very well appointed property, hospitality on point and delicious food. Would definitely recommend!
We celebrated our wedding here on Saturday and had the most amazing day! Hotel, food, wine, staff, Muse Restaurant, location and atmosphere were perfect! The staff were a pleasure to work with and accommodated our every need! Highly recommend �

You could not find a better 'destination' winery than Mitchelton. My husband and I went the other day for our 15th wedding anniversary and had the great fortune to have the most incredibly sweet woman, Jasmine, at Cellar Door look after us. What an amazing lady, she made being there extra special! Add to that the amazing prices of such a varied list, fantastic, true value for money. We then checked out the new hotel, simply beautiful and thank you Clare for showing us around. Downstairs to the spa, wow! Just the smell of this gorgeous facility made me feel relaxed, it really seems like a sanctuary. Then we peeked in the restaurant, not open when we there but if the food is even half as good as the ambience it will be spectacular. I did look at the menu and the prices for such a place seemed once again totally reasonable. We finished off going to the cafe and chocolate shop. The chocolates were almost, note I said almost, too beautiful to eat, they reminded me of the chocolates we saw in the windows in Paris and Germany and Ella, well she's simply tres belle! If you're looking for a destination that has it all, then look no further than Mitchelton. I can't wait to return in several months as we were told that the owners are soon to open an art gallery. Mitchelton is simply Marvellous!

Great selection of wines and reasonably priced. Also the scenery, restaurant and their chocolate is first class. Well worth a visit.

This place is a must! It was our second stay here and it didn't disappoint once again. We ended up staying an extra night as we just loved being here and enjoying what it has to offer. A complimentary wine tasting if you're staying is always a good idea as their wines are quality. My wife went to the day spa and said she had a great experience there. There is so much to do from heading up to the lookout which gives you a 360 view of the surrounding areas and information on other places, wine tasting, day spa, gym, pool, restaurant and a little Cafe that is only open on the weekends from memory. The staff are lovely and went above and beyond for us for our second night's stay and we got a free bottle of wine for our stay for our anniversary which we thought was a lovely gesture as they didn't have to do anything. Dinner is amazing and we couldn't fault it with the quality and service. It is very hard to fault Mitchelton wines at all as I tried and couldn't find anything bad to say. They also have a great wine membership that has a lot of offers and discounts which I recommend signing up to. Thanks again Mitchelton, we look forward to staying again soon.
Went here for my birthday. Love the food so much we were hoping to actually book to stay for a few days next year for Valentine’s Day. I love the smoked strawberries, the food was very flavourful which is great. The view was great, while waiting for the food we would actually wait around or sit by the fireplace to stay warm. I have attached some photos. I had the bone marrow as well, very creamy.
Mitchelton Wines has to be one of my most favourite venues. The grounds are stunning and there are so many beautiful locations for photography, couples and photographers are spoilt for choice. A couple of mine had their ceremony at the cellar and it was so dreamy. I recommend it to everyone that wants a unique and beautiful wedding.
Had a lovely long lunch and tasted some amazing wines. The Preece Prosecco is my absolute favourite. The Pinot is great too! Hotel and spa were lovely too.

Beautiful winery with friendly welcoming staff who will treat you like family. The grounds are spectacular and the setting with river views was sublime. We had a fabulous time.
