This place is a must! It was our second stay here and it didn't disappoint once again. We ended up staying an extra night as we just loved being here and enjoying what it has to offer. A complimentary wine tasting if you're staying is always a good idea as their wines are quality. My wife went to the day spa and said she had a great experience there. There is so much to do from heading up to the lookout which gives you a 360 view of the surrounding areas and information on other places, wine tasting, day spa, gym, pool, restaurant and a little Cafe that is only open on the weekends from memory. The staff are lovely and went above and beyond for us for our second night's stay and we got a free bottle of wine for our stay for our anniversary which we thought was a lovely gesture as they didn't have to do anything. Dinner is amazing and we couldn't fault it with the quality and service. It is very hard to fault Mitchelton wines at all as I tried and couldn't find anything bad to say. They also have a great wine membership that has a lot of offers and discounts which I recommend signing up to. Thanks again Mitchelton, we look forward to staying again soon.
Went here for my birthday. Love the food so much we were hoping to actually book to stay for a few days next year for Valentine’s Day. I love the smoked strawberries, the food was very flavourful which is great. The view was great, while waiting for the food we would actually wait around or sit by the fireplace to stay warm. I have attached some photos. I had the bone marrow as well, very creamy.
Mitchelton Wines has to be one of my most favourite venues. The grounds are stunning and there are so many beautiful locations for photography, couples and photographers are spoilt for choice. A couple of mine had their ceremony at the cellar and it was so dreamy. I recommend it to everyone that wants a unique and beautiful wedding.
