This is a hidden gem of regional Victoria. There is a large outdoor area for seating next to the lake, which would be perfect for a spring or summer afternoon. Since I visited in July, we sat indoors beside a real wood-fired fireplace with a 90° view of the sunset over the lake. The menu was very competitively priced - I got the pea soup with hot roll special for $6, and then duck breast with trimmings for $31. Local bottle of Nagambie wine for $23 meant a very pleasant meal in comfortable surroundings with a stunning water view that I haven't found in this part of the country until now. I recommend an afternoon visit to the Rowers Club!

Great Parma and Fish!
Beautiful night, nice and busy in the venue but we’ll staffed with all friendly faces.
Both mine and my partners food was amazing the blue grenadier (fish and chips) was really good I got it with pepper sauce instead of tartare though.
Sarah’s Parma was top notch, really impressive.
View from our table was lovely and the automated blinds opening up to see the beautiful sunset over the lake was stunning.
Felt pretty Covid safe the venue was doing everything they could with correct check in me vax checks which makes me feel more comfortable. Only issue was all the coughing and spluttering patrons, which I am sure is not uncommon but with the current outbreak is a bit disconcerting
Nice food and view. Staff were very friendly. Calamari was very tender, the chicken parmigiana was a little over done. Will go back and will recommend 8/10

Had lunch there today, service and food were excellent, very busy, sat outside and enjoyed the sun and ambience. We had the prawn laska, chicken parmigiana and a lamb rump, all perfect, and we’re very particular about our food. Definitely will come back, we had met here with our daughter after a 2 hour drive each way.

Visited on Sunday of long weekend for lunch , very pleasant surroundings .As we had booked. ahead for a large group at 12.30 they were expecting to be busy , the meal was quite good and staff very friendly only complaint was after enquiring 3 times by different people about our desert to be told it was coming soon. We patiently waited for quite a while but then gave up and 5 of us walked out after having paid for desert and didn’t have any with no reason or apology for why it didn’t arrive . Little bit disappointed .
Nice pub fare meals and good customer service. Great place to visit and amazing views from outdoor area over the lake. Menu is quite light in terms of choice and could be more expansive. Worth a visit.
Great spot overlooking the lake. Friendly service and awesome food. Make sure you book otherwise you’ll struggle to get a table!
