The pavilion is a great place for families or to catch up with friends. The relaxed hamptons decor , indoor & outdoor seating & menu make it a great spot for lunch or dinner. There is a second bar and Tab that is completely separate but for an adjoining door which maintained the mood. There are daily specials on meals and sometimes cocktails. We ordered the Guineans pie, beef brisket nachos and kids fish and chips. The fish and chips were $10 and came with a little cup of grapes and popcorn. For an extra $4 you can add in icecream and an activity book. The main meals start from about $19 or there are starters to choose from if you want something lighter. Our food was tasty and the service was great. We were told there would be a 25 minute wait on the pie and we didn't have to wait any longer than that. Pastry was a tad brown but it got finished. Would return
The Pavillion does great steak and the mushroom sauce amazing. I'm not too sure why there is such a low rating. I've eaten there plenty of times with the same great food coming out. Although I am not a fan of the waffle fries, that's personal choice and I know others love it. The Paris butter on the steak is also a must try!
The best steak I ever had. Visites the pub with 3 friends and we chose it because it was the closest to us then inspite of the low rating in zomato.
All 3 of us are going there again driving 70+ kms to have it again. Really good food.. Trust me.
Since renovations the new 'Pavillion' bistro is great, amazing seating and a much nicer vibe then previously.
We orders a buttermilk chicken burger which was great, I haven't had a chicken burger this good anywhere in South West Sydney. Closest thing to my favourite which is Chicken and Sons (Chatswood) without trekking the long drive
Chicken Parmigiana with side changed for Caesar salad, can never go wrong with Schnitzel here it is of quality and decent portion
Also recently just tried their new soft shell crap burger!
Lovely, light and refreshing; the new decor of The Pavilion and my meal selection of the crispy skinned salmon synced perfectly. The fennel cream complimented the salmon and the beautiful "crunch" from the skin and the battered zucchini heightened all senses, making it quite an enjoyable meal.
While the new fit-out is impressive, it was a tad pricier than expected for a revamped pub.
It's so incredible what they have done with Narellan hotel! From daggy, outdated interiors to an aesthetic of modern sophistication, you actually want to be there when you walk in.
The food has always been good, but now the menu in my opinion makes The Pavillon one of the best eateries in the region. Ordering the fried buttermilk chicken burger the wait was long but easily passed with an aperol spritz or two. The wait was definitely worth it! The bun was soft, the chicken flavoursome and the bun to chicken ratio was perfect. The chipotle sauce is heavenly, only downer is that the cheese wasn't melted which is my biggest pet hate.
I also tried some of the calamari and buffalo wings which were also winners.
Highly recommend!!
