Went there on the weekend and brought both the sushi and hot food from the shop.
The staff that served me was new but was very friendly and polite. The food was fresh and was great value for money.
I am not sure what people are expecting from a fast food shop, but having quick, cheap and fresh food ticked all my boxes. Will definitely be going back as a regular now.
Had sushi rolls (salmon, prawn, prawn tempura) and had a pleasant surprise! I don't expect too much for shopping centre food court sushi but what a surprise. The rolls had decent amount of fillings, good quality prawn and salmon and the rice was not bland either (a lot of these places have really bland rice). And just $8 for 4 rolls with friendly staff. I'm talking about a food court level sushi though, not authentic Japanese cuisine.
This would be my go to quick food court venue from now on!
Definitely not authentic Japanese, or Chinese for that matter. Let's keep in mind that this is out in the 'burbs with a primarly caucasian clientele.
The honey chicken was no joke the best I have had. Sweet, crunchy and tender in the middle. Fried rice was the usual offerings, and needed soy sauce to balance the flavour of the honey chicken.
Gyozas were chewy and tasted like they had been out for a few hours. Filling had a decent meaty flavour.
Next time, I will steer clear of the gyozas, and just go straight for some honey chicken.
