We had the most delicious Devonshire tea out in the Gardens then strolled around the grounds. A superb Georgian style house with extensive grounds Our friend who we “treated” has mobility problems and he was able to get about & view the grounds easily. The food & drink were wonderful, the service friendly & accommodating & the weather superb!! A perfect afternoon out! Thank you Glen Derwent Tearooms! 😊👍

The four of us went for Devonshire tea and were blown away. Not only was the venue itself stunning (and very warm and cosy!), but we were served the best scones I've ever tasted fresh out of the oven. Attentive and welcoming staff served us almost bottomless tea and scones (with fresh jam and cream), and the peacocks in the garden were a delight. This is the height of country hospitality, and I look forward to going back. HIGHLY recommend!

I’ve been to these tea rooms quite a few times and never have I been disappointed. The service, food, the tea, the beautiful caring people. Liz is amazing. I highly recommend this venue as an eatery and for accommodation. I’ve taken overseas and interstate travellers and all have enjoyed their experience
