I only live up the road from Mei Vue Cafe yet I've never ventured there...until last night. Heard the raves from my daughter who's friend has had dinner there a number of times. Must say the meals were delish & plentiful. We celebrated Mothers Day with our family last night & must say everyone was impressed. The large ordered was filled in record time!! I recommend you try this place...you'll be highly impressed 😄👏
We took two of our grandchildren there for lunch yesterday and the four of us were impressed with the inclusion of home-grown herbs and veggies. Most appealing. We'll be back.
Visited last week with family. It was a mid-week visit and we came for an early dinner as we have a toddler so it wasn't very busy - mainly takeaway orders with one other table being occupied. Nice, open, and clean restaurant. Appeared that it was only be the husband and wife team working. Food came out pretty quickly, was tasty, and good value for money. Would definitely come here again.
We've only been here a few times, even though it's quite local for us. A relaxed, informal atmosphere inside, and relaxing views of the pond and ducks if you sit outside (but, obviously, there can be annoying mossies near any body of water). Staff are lovely, and are always accommodating of our young children. And food is lovely, with good sized portions, although one or two dishes I found a little salty for my taste. I will definitely be visiting again!
Used to live in this area and now we miss it - A LOT. We always bought the crab 🦀, so soft and flavour filled! It’s also great just as an afternoon stop. Prices of ice creams, cookies or even prawn chips occasionally are like $2! This place is awesome!
Been a regular for years, family owned restaurant with great food. Also quite cheap for such big portions. Highly recommend!
Solid 4 stars. Doesn't have a huge variety of individual dishes and probably more suited towards sharing. They need to get their noodle/topping ratios sorted.

Absolutly the BEST chinese food! I work in the area and pop in to grab lunch at least once a fortnight. The staff are super friendly and the cafe is very relaxed. I highly recommend Mei Vue.
Great tasting Chinese food. If the fried rice isn't great I don't go back. Been going there for around 8 years. The staff are friendly and when you eat in the service is great.
The food at this hidden gem is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful with making your dining experience enjoyable. Meal sizes are very generous and reasonably priced, BYO alcohol is encouraged with both hot and cold drinks on premises
