Solid quality takeway style Australian Chinese. Cheap lunch specials are good and delivery is available. Would be good if you could pay for delivery to Fern Bay if ordering less than $40 as it's one of the few places that deliver there.

Not knowing Newcastle we ordered from Chu Mamas for home delivery .When the food arrived hot and punctual we discovered the friendly young man had come over on the Ferry from Stockton .We were very apologetic but were told it was no problem Amazing sevice and the food was delicious. Thank you .

Nice service, homemade spring rolls etc (best I have had for a while)... Even make their own prawn cutlets, good selection menu plus you can bring your own wine and no corkage..That's great ..Now I go there at least twice a week...I simply catch the bus now as it stops right near the restaurant & same coming back..However I do not do takeaways as its not the same as dining there plus its a day out and I can relax with a bottle of wine and take my time...Sad that they don't serve icecream or cream with Banana Fritters, as mostly all restaurants do.. Usual cost for me with an entree $19 to $22
