The coffee here is soooooo good!!! I reckon it's the best one I've had in the Newport/Avalon area!!! Their pies, sausage rolls and brownies were YUM and the staff here are just awesome!!! This will be my first stop to fuel up the next time I'm up that way. Thank you once again for the deliciously good coffee.. they're so hard to come by nowadays

I'm not going to lie to you. I've been to a lot of other cafes, but what I experienced when I went into the woods with you today was special.
The coffee was sublime, the warm service like the embrace of an old friend.
As I looked at you while I ordered, images and words flashed through my mind too many to recal now, I think I saw an eagle and some type of large snow man type creature but that's not important right now.
What is important is that you handed me a cup of pure delight and as I sipped I felt a popping nay an explosion of life itself. Similar to when you go to the dictionary to look up the meaning of a word and you find something you didn't expect - it's better than what you'd hoped for.
Why am I reminded of my childhood? Where have these tears come from? I don't want this, it's too much, but then, Ryan is here comforting me staring into my very soul with his wolf like eyes. Oh wise wolf, teaching me silently with your gaze.
..and I'm wondering - is this my wolf pack? have I come to the woods and found my tribe? my home? my forever place?
I don't know. Maybe I never will.
But I'll be back to find out. This I can pledge to you.
So yeah, in summation. You changed me.
I recently moved to the area and have tried a few places for coffee. This is my favourite so far. Their pastries are so good and they make them fresh every day. The guys here always have a smile on!
Hands down the best coffee on the peninsular. Smooth, chocolatey, caramel vibes to their coffee here, never burnt, always the right temperature and always dished up with a smile and integrity. If you're driving through to Palmy, make sure to stop and grab a flattie here. The snail pastries are delicious too. We go out of our way to get a 'Woods' coffee. You wont regret it!

Beautiful baked goods, awesome staff and it seems like every week there are new pastry treats on the menu! Devine quiches, pies, danishes, wraps and ohhh those melting moments - yummm!!

Lived locally for just over a year. Have tried all of the cafes on the strip. Without a doubt the best coffee , pies and pastries. If my normal local had stayed open during covid I might have missed out on this little gem. Now my regular stop on weekends on the way to the beach.
Simplicity & down-to-earth are the best.
