I've been meaning to do this for a while, but I'm usually stuffing my face with the best fish and chips I've ever had. Not only is the food here amazing, but service is even better. I'm usually the one getting lunch on Fridays for the office (about 15 people) and it's always a delight dealing with these guys! They individually wrap all the separate orders so they're easily distributed when i get back to the seagulls in the office. Thank you guys for the great food and smiling faces every time!

Half decent fish & chips.. I had the pleasure of introducing Jamie Oliver to this magnificent shop. He absolutely loves this place and is a regular customer. Peace and love to the friendly staff, who always accommodate my hunger.
The prices have been updated since the menu photo was taken, burgers and sandwiches and fish have all gone up about a dollar
Nice fresh fish and chips here. I like the mars bar in batter. It is surprisingly good as the gooey caramel inside is melted and matched well with the fried outer batter.
Newport Sea Catch is our go to fish and chips shop as my son and husband have to eat gluten free and they are consistently great. The grilled fish is delicious as are the gluten free potato cakes. Occasionally the chips aren't super crispy but that seems to be only the odd occasion.
I highly recommend if you have coeliacs as they seem to be very good at avoiding gluten contamination. But a word of warning, sometimes the guys who answer the phone get a bit stressed out at the mention of gluten free, don't be put off. The women at the counter are always really friendly and lovely.
Delicious food and friendly service! Eat here on a regular basis and the food is consistently good! Highly recommend the chicken souvlaki & their freshly cut chips! YUM
These guys always deliver the goods. Been in the business for over 12 years, and it just seems that each friday night gets busier and busier! We are regulars at Sea Catch and love not only the delicious food, but also the excellent and friendly service. The fish is super tasty but my favourite item on the menu would have to be their chicken souvas! Highly recommend this place.
Our go to fish and chips shop....ask for fresh calamari rings and dont go for grilled fish the battered is alot nicer. Friendly staff and a park just up the road

Good Fish n Chips. The Fish n Chips here are great, very tasty and always fresh. Been going here for years and never had a problem. The girls behind the counter are lovely and always up for a good laugh.
Handy Tip: To Get Fresh Calamari rings, you need to ask...otherwise it's the processed stuff i'm afraid. Same price though, so good on em for that at least.
Delicious Veggie Burger. The service at Newport Sea Catch is fantastic. Really busy on a Friday night, but the staff are still smiling, and happy to have a chat! Great chips and the veggie burger was really good- it's not fancy, just a simple, tasty fish and chip shop burger- and priced accordingly.

The place is always busy and the people there are the absolute best. Very friendly team cooking and frying some of the best Fish and Chips you will ever taste, despite the humble appearance of their shop. No real seating area so it is best suited for takeaway, but then again I went during a lockdown so they might have just packed away any tables and chairs they might have had out.
Hands down best fish n chips I've had in a long time. Good selection of fish, chips cooked well done and crispy. Price is 👌 $35 family pack (4 fish, 5 dim sims, 5 potatoes cakes and chips) fed my family of 5 and every one was full. Definatley returning

Family owned and very welcoming. The flake and barramundi are fantastic, and the chips are always plentiful. Can get busy, but the food is more than worth it

Wonderful gluten free fish and chips. Call and give a bit heads up and they can make you some fresh GF batter. So crisp and tasty. 100% recommend.
