I give you 5/5 for your beautiful cruelty free food anyway - but tonight I discovered that Uber Eats have changed their delivery range & I couldn't order online, rang to check & as a one off you have offered to still deliver just this time so you don't lose a customer! Very kind gesture so really I'd rate you 6/5 if I could :)
One of my fave places to eat in Sydney there mock fish is the best !
Went on a Saturday so it was mad packed so I suggest booking a table prior, you can always do it through Zomato! ☺️ The food was absolutely phenomenal, loved the crispy yellow noodle stir fry!
Okay. I think Vina’s has taken the no. 1 spot for my fav vegan restaurant in Sydney! My favourite is the combination fried rice. Its DELICIOUS. the vegan nuggets and crispy wantons are UNREAL. would have vinas over golden lotus any day
Came by two nights ago with two other friends. None of us are usually vegetarian/vegan but we all enjoyed the meal. The imitation duck pancakes were on point, there was crispness, and the flavour tasted like the real deal. The curry samosas were good although quite small. The seaweed fried rice was so fragrant and delicious, and the Vietnamese pancake was really yummy. Overall, a delicious, filling and pretty cheap meal that did not leave us craving meat. And the service was excellent, I think it was the owner who came out and had a chat to us, and he was very friendly, attentive and helpful.
Really nice and fresh food. Peking not duck roles were great! The samosas are quite smaller than average (very cute none the less) but service was quick.
Service was friendly and kind, although a bit disjointed at times. The restaurant wasn’t packed and also had outdoor seating, so a good option seeing most places on king street were packed.
Will definitely return soon to try some more options!
Curry is always a bit of a low hanging fruit when it comes to vegan food, as the coconut milk alone is enough to carry the dish. But the Red Curry with Vegan Chicken ($15.8) actually punched above its weight. Piled dangerously tall, the sauce was rich, complex, and full of flavour. It covered every crisp morsel of vegetable, and soaked especially indulgently into the fluffy chunks of potato at the bottom. Paired with a bowl of Jasmine Rice ($2.8), this is comfort food you can feel good about.
Newtown is an absolute Foodie dream with it's wonderful cafe's, little diners, quirky outlets and overall good quality eats. It's here you will find one of the largest selections of Vegan/Vegetarian restaurants in Sydney. It was a celebration of a milestone, and wanting to try vegan Vietnamese food that brought us to Vina Vegan.
The red curry is probably my new favourite dish ever! Reasonably priced and great value. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Appreciated that we could split the bill.
Pho and Banh Xeo were incredible also really enjoyed the flat rice noodles. I’m happy to see the food is still great after the new renovation, I was worried it wouldn’t be. Also, even though the menu is a bit smaller there are still a ton of options!!
The food was delicious and the people amazing. We tried the set-menu which give us a choice of everything and very good value. Highly recommend.
We have been here a few times now and it’s always consistent and delicious.
Such a great fully vegan/plant based restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and patient with us. Great customer service. Food came out promptly. We ordered almost all of the entrees to share. We also ordered the combination fried nice and the mushroom wok tossed chicken I recommend the BBQ buns.
They are BYO but charge $3/person.
