Review Calaveras Mexican Cantina And Tequila Bar - Newtown

Love the ambiance of this venue, such a lovely place to have a catch up with friends and family. Their food is delicious, particularly their tacos and they also have a great range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.

Extremely strict booking system that’s powered by third party and only allow 1.5hrs for weekends. The chimuchurri taco tastes very refreshing and the fish taco has very great texture. Overall it’s a bit overpriced and we wish we could stay for longer to enjoy more drinks.

Love the location and atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was a bit spicy for my partner. The drinks are great. The food is affordable.

Went out with a friend and it was awesome. Great atmosphere great food. Definitely recommend!

Myself and a group of friends came here tonight. One of my friends is pregnant. We all felt extremely ill, especially my pregnant friend. We expressed our concerns with the manager who was nothing but unhelpful. Jess was her name. She refused to believe that the food was stale and said that she couldn’t do anything about it, laughed and shrugged it off. All I asked for was a resolution on which she had no care factor. My pregnant friend is now at risk. I would like to be contacted asap in regards to this or I will be taking this matter much further.

the margaritas are BOMB got the strawberry and melon and it was so delicious but make sure you mix it up so the tequila is incorporated throughout your drink. snacks are fairly average, we got the chips and guac and they were good but nothing amazing check out my food instagram @erinxeats for more!

Food is quite bland and non descriptive. Staff were attentive and friendly. Drinks other than tequila are not very good either. Both the prosecco and the house bubbly are cheap passion pop. Won't be visiting again

The vibe of the place was great and the cocktails were insane! Would definitely come back for the cocktails however not for the food. It was overpriced for what you get and the meat was really dry. Definitely not Mexican… it’s more “Aussie”fied.

The atmosphere was more Mexican than the food. Lacking spices that is Mexican. The music seemed to get louder, making conversation a bit difficult. Half our table had ordered whilst the other half had not. Their food came out before we had ordered. Once we got the attention of our waiter, our mains then starters arrived. The enchiladas were bland, as was most of the food. Pricing was average. Sangria average. We were left slightly disappointed as one of our guests originated from Mexico, another a chef, another an avid traveler, one couple own a restaurant. Staff were friendly which was a plus. 2.5 out of 5.

Great Atmosphere! This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Sydney, the food is authentic and the flavours are spot on Mexican cuisine. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with suggestions on the menu. We had the set menu as we wanted to try everything and we all enjoyed the generous portions and tasty dishes this restaurant offered.
Jane Paschalidis
Fabulous margaritas very attentive staff but the food let us down. Very small portions and over priced. Shame as the atmosphere of the place is great.
Lisa Schrei
Yummi food and friendly staff. 39$ food package was more than enough food, also catered well for vegetarian.
Boris Fernando
Great atmosphere and excellent service! Bartender came up to our table and talked us through their cocktail menu and tailored cocktails for each us! Suffice to say everyone was satisfied with the drink they received! Place has a nice ambience and is really cosy to have a chat.
Michelle Mackenzie
The tacos were shit, paid $3 for what looked like two tablespoons of food on some tiny crapy flatbread thing. And the food that was there wasn't even good food. Had to leave to go home and eat a legitimate meal. Definitely go to beach burrito if you're looking for a cheap Tuesday feed

Awesome people/owner treat u like a king , we love Mexico

Thanks guys for hosting a birthday party for close friends and family last night! Your staff were warm and accommodating. The food was lovely to share and everyone enjoyed the sangria!! Fantastic affordability as well!!
Mezza Hoy
One of the best nights ever..great food amazing atmosphere! Amazing cocktails! Owner and workers were the best! Coming back real soon!!!
Sarah Lasagne
Only had a sangria but it was undrinkable. I notice it's described as red wine, a base and fruit. The 'base' was some sort of sickly cordial, giving the drink a horrible taste and a pink, rather than red colour. I'd rather pay more and have the proper ingredients used.
Dominic Svensson
Surprisingly strong flavours in the big enchilada meal and they did a really good cocktail. Overpriced but much better Mexican than I was expecting.
Phung Tieu
Would definitely come here again! Food was so amazing, flavour was on point! We love all the tacos and the enchiladas! Went here to a friends birthday and would definitely host my own birthday!
NatAnn
An awesome place with great food and music. The atmosphere is very vibrant and fun. We really enjoyed everything about this place. Caution: some of the food is really spicy so make sure you have a glass of water close by at all times.

We were at Newtown craving for Mexican, and we decided to give Calaveras a shot. Coming in to a great busy buzz of people upstairs, the vibe was excellent and customers were clearly having a great time.
Started off with corn based tacos filled with fish, pork and chicken, was only fan of the fish and not so much on the other two. Not a fan of the taco base either because of the gritty corn that was present in texture.
We also ordered chicken enchiladas which unfortunately we weren’t fans of. Wasn’t fan of the sauce, the chicken was dry, and there wasn’t enough cheese.
Hoping to end on a nicer note, we ordered churros. Can’t fault fried churros with cinnamon sugar and chocolate syrup, but the price was sort of steep for what we got.
Rachael
They have a special at the moment - tacos for 3 dollars. Tried one of each sans the vegetarian option. All of them came in a grainy taco soft wrapping- pretty small (7cm diameter). My favourites were the pork and the fish. Restaurant was a bit dark but seemed like a good atmosphere to grab a bite and unwind.

Calaveras tacos are one of the best ways to have a cheap meal on a Tuesday. Just a 2 minute walk from the train station, this is the best way to enjoy vegetarian Mexican food and wine. Calaveras looks shady from the streets, however it has a really nice seating section upstairs and great deals all around the week!

We arrived a little early in Newtown before meeting our friends to go to Black Ginger, so I dragged husband to have a drink here. I’d seen the signs saying it’s a tequila bar… and hey, I like tequila. It’s upstairs in the revamped railway station, and has a good atmosphere.

I have enjoyed eating and drinking @ calaveras. The staff are extremely friendly and the drinks are very nice. However, I feel like the place is a bit too dark as the lights are dim and depending on where you are sitting it is sometimes hard to see. I enjoyed the tacos that I ordered, however they are not for the faint hearted as it is very spicy!!. I really enjoyed the drink "Death In Tijuana" as the mezcal, fresh lime, pink grapefruit and pomegranate complemented with the chilli salted rim was a perfect combination of sweet and sour. If Death In Tijuana doesn't sound like your fortay my second go to cocktail that I highly recommend is "Fairy Floss". The sweet taste of the strawberry limes topped off with fairy floss makes you feel like your reliving your childhood (well the 18+ version).
J
Disappointing, over priced food and drinks.
The cocktail had no flavour, just tasted like straight, cheap vodka.
Very little effort let alone food put into the tacos.
Won't return.
Marco Filice
Did not expect to pay $25 for tortillas, canned chicken and el paso bottled sauce. Next time you are thinking of having Mexican here, stay at home.

Calaveras has a great ambience. So gorgeous on the inside but the food is actually appalling. Enchiladas are bland, four people on my table didn't finish their's. Pretty sure the chicken is the one from the tin. So shocked at how bad the food is... such a shame

I tend to love the vibe and decor at Mexican restaurants. They are usually colourful, with a bar-like, fun atmosphere. Calaveras was no different. Great place for drinks and winding down after a long week.

To share, we ordered the guacamole, some tacos and the beef fajita. Guacamole was fresh and a great starter. I would have happily eaten a whole serving (or 2) on my own. The plates of tacos came next, with a mix of pulled pork, chicken and fish; and I couldn't help notice that the tacos were very small. Anyway, taste wise, they were decent, but were not excellent either. They all seemed to taste the same from the red sauce. They were spicy, but lacked those Mexican flavours i was after. The beef strips for the fajitas came out over some rice + 3 tortillas to the side (what's with restaurants serving food in odd numbers). Fajita was ok, spicy as well, though i didn't like the beef strips being cut too fine. They reminded me of mince and looked rather cheap.

Right now, i would prefer to come here for drinks and just snacking on some food (pre-dinner), but with some tweaks to the menu, they can get people to stay for a proper dinner and order more food.

In Short: Calaveras Mexican Cantina and Tequila Bar is a fun and vibrant take on Mexican favourites with a menu that embraces a light and fresh approach. Ideal for a relaxed drink and a casual bite, Calaveras is a little taste of Tijuana on Newtown's King St.

I’ve been lucky enough to take some epic road trips across America’s Tex-Mex heartland, and spent some time south of the border down Mexico way. Stepping into Newtown’s Calaveras Mexican Cantina and Tequila Bar, with the distinctive mix of spices and tequila shots in the air, was like stepping back to a time when I was a little younger, well, a lot younger, and a little less worldly-wise to the ways of the worm at the bottom of the bottle.

Been here twice. First time was decent, second time was appalling.
Atmosphere: great decor, ornamental skulls, sombreros, tap water served in tequila bottles - overall awesome
Food: nice plating, great tasting, small servings.
Price: what you'd expect at a typical place in Newtown - not too pricey, but not the cheapest

Now the waiting time and service - well that was disappointing for me. Generally I'd expect to wait 20 mins max for food to come out. First time it was so. Second time we waited 40 minutes, food hadn't come yet.

I ordered a starter dish, I pointed to it on the menu, read it aloud, and asked to clarify "will the feta be sprinkled on top of the beans". After all that, I was disappointed to know that the waitress got it wrong. I had somewhere to go right after dinner and I was under the impression I only had to wait 20 mins. Unfortunately my dish was not ready and I had to leave. I asked to doggie bag it and pay, and unfortunately they informed me that I can't do that.

I feel like this is a hit and miss situation, but to have to wait 40 minutes for a small starter dish - don't think I'll be coming back here.
David Minett
Found the atmosphere to be cool. Decent drinks. Myself and a few friends ordered the enchiladas Rojas. They looked nice but tasted like dog food. I thought it was just me but the others disliked it too. The serving size was too small but perhaps that is for the best. Disappointing.

What a fun spot right near Newtown station, I’m surprised I had never come across it considering it is literally a few steps away. When you walk up the stairs, you enter this fantastically decorated space that immediately reminded me of James Bond Spectre’s opening scene. These days I’m really starting to appreciate the décor and atmosphere of restaurants more and more, so the bright colours and open space was really nice to see.

Neither of us were up for a cocktail unfortunately, which is a shame because there were so many options and some that sound right up my alley too! However, the staff were lovely and quick to accommodate with a ginger beer concoction and lychee mocktail, yum yum yum.

We tried a variety of tacos; pork, fish, chicken, and veg, with which I really recommend the fish and veg. I feel like fish tacos do no wrong honestly, it’s as if they were meant for tacos as it goes so well with the flavours. Although I asked for no feta in the veg, there was no lack of flavor and life from the pop of the corn and crunch of the slaw.

You have to get guacamole when having Mexican, kind of a given, and our side of guac disappeared at a rapid speed. Which is why it was a rookie mistake and we should have ordered the regular size as opposed to the side! They’re not wrong when they say it’s fresh & zesty, I just wish the side was a little bigger! Also had to try the ceviche de pescado which is another I recommend. I could seriously drench everything in lime, so this was perfectly to my taste. The fish tasted fresh (YES this is so important because if they have a strong fishy taste it distracts from any of the other flavours which has happened to me at another Mexican restaurant!!) and they were very generous with the amount as well. With a bit of their pico de gallo and crisp of the tortilla, this was a winner.

I know usually you would expect cheese with a quesadilla, but I got it without the mozzarella and guess what! It works so I was perfectly happy with that. The salsa adds a great flavor and I enjoyed the freshness of the veggies.

Originally I thought this would be more than enough food, but the portions are actually on the smaller side so best to order a few things to share. All round it is really a great place to go with friends and chill while sipping on their drinks as it has a very fun energy to it which was kept alive all night!

I was looking for a place to dine and get drinks with some work friends and happened across Calaveras. I love Mexican food (alongside Thai it's my favourite).

The Restaurant is conveniently located near Newtown train station for those who are not driving. Immediately I was into the ambience as you ascend a staircase to reach a small but really funky joint.
My work friends and I were greeted with friendly hellos from the barstaff but the waiter who came over to us , made it clear as day he was unimpressed that the 4 of us didn't have a reservation and audibly said so to his female co-worker. We were standing right there.
After sighing all big and looking inconvenienced by us he surveyed the restaurant and despite several empty tables (which remained so during our dining experience) told the female waiter to seat us over at window pretty much next to kitchen/side of bar.

Poor service aside from that one particular waiter, the rest of the service experience was friendly, quick and always with a smile or laugh.

I loved the food. We ordered several dishes starting with the Guacamole, Ceviche de Pescado, Totopos Azules, Huitlacoche Y Hongos, Mujer Bonita + Senor Pollo + Al Pastor tacos and quite a few margaritas. Among the margaritas we tried the lychee Laguna, passion sesion, Mexican melon sour, original margarita and the only cocktail I did not like some blood orange vile thing (which I did finish).

Overall had a great time, loved the atmosphere and minus that rude waiter at the beginning of our night would recommend this place and come back for more.

‘Calaveras’ is a funky name for a restaurant and immediately identifies it as a Mexican establishment. The word actually translates as ‘skulls’ which would seem to be a slightly odd choice for a restaurant name until you step inside. Calaveras is found on Newtown’s busy King Street and climbing the flight of stairs from street level reveals a dark, atmospheric dining space with a strong Day of the Dead theme going on.

My new favourite Mexican place! The food and atmosphere was amazing, especially for a Wednesday night. We ordered the Blood Orange and Passionfruit frozen margaritas as it was so hot, and super delicious. The waitress was so great she suggested a few meat and vegetarian dishes to try. We finally decided on the Flautas de pollo, Pollo loco + chipotle & Huitlacoche mushroom + veggie Quesadilla.

While we were waiting for our meals the owner sent over 2 tequila shot with a slice of lime & salt on the house.

The food was awesome spicy, flavoursome and quick. We loved everything, especially the Flautas de pollo!!! The food was so amazing we decided to order the churros too.

Overall it was a great authentic Mexican experience.

Calaveras is conveniently located near Newtown train station and offers a really vibrant and colourful space to enjoy authentic Mexican food and drink.
Each table comes complete with sombreros and water served in tequila bottles; and with $5 sangria, you would have a hard time not enjoying yourself here. This isn’t your standard Tex-Mex joint - you won’t see any burritos or nachos on the menu. Instead, we got generous servings of chips and guac, tacos, quesadillas, and churros.Everything was so fresh and homemade so it felt like a light yet still indulgent meal. We ordered a variety of tacos - each one was juicy, full of texture, and perfectly spiced. The churros were drenched in hot Nutella sauce and was a great way to finish off the meal. Calaveras would be a perfect place for both a casual dinner or to have a fun night out with a group.

Have you ever been to Calaveras in Newtown? Their owner Gerry was born in Mexico and has brought authentic Mexican flavours and booze to Newtown. I recently drop by on a Friday night after a long week at work. Calaveras is located right near Newtown Station on King St. You enter by going up the stairs and as you enter, you see their bar. It's a dimly lit restaurant/bar with Mexican hats and decorations everywhere. Get in touch with your inner child. Calaveras has a wicked cocktail and drinks menu. Go to the blog post for full review including photos

Had such a fun night for taco Tuesday with a group of friends. From the moment you walk up the stairs you're greeted with bright lights, colourful flags and mexican sombreros. The food is fantastic...queso fondido being the ultimate cheesy deliciousness!! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back not on a school night to try more of the cocktail menu!!

Why does this place not have 5 stars????

After searching Sydney high and low for the best Mexican around, we have finally found it.
I have a particular palette for Authentic Mexican. I grew up around the home cooked tamales, and fresh made tortillas. So, when moving to Sydney, I was disappointed in everyone's love for the Guzman Gomez fad.

When you walk past the restaurant you don't have the tables sat with window views, you walk up the stairs to the open window perched views of Newtown. What caught our eye weeks before the visit were the Sangria and Margarita drink specials posted out front.

We decided on date night and picked Calaveras. When we walked upstairs we were sat at a table right by the window. We immediately were greeted and order a mix of the drink specials.
Every question we had was answered promptly. My partner wanted to order the tacos but didn't know the size and how many to order. We had a friendly waitress who guided us through our questions easily.

I ordered the fajitas, which in Authentic Mexican come on a sizzling plate with a side dish of toppings for each taco. These came out differently, but they were insane amazing. The tortillas came on the side with a bowl presented with the mixed chicken and peppers and onions. The seasoning was just enough.

My partner ordered three different tacos. Fish, chicken, and pork. He said each one was different but very good. We also ordered guacamole that was fresh and delicious. The tortillas chips were seasoned as well.

We had another round of drinks, and were also offered desserts that would have gotten, but we were stuffed.

The tacos could have been bigger, but they were just enough. The price could be pricey if you want a cheap meal, but it was very much worth the cost. The atmosphere was wonderful for a night out together.

We have officially ranked this restaurant the best Mexican in Sydney, and our favourite restaurant in Newtown.

The traditional fun food dishes and festive nature of Calaveras Mexican is what makes this venue so enjoyable. Whether it is families, friends, work colleagues or even yourself alone I can see you having fun at this place. The staff were happy, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and it was an honour to dine in Gerardo’s passion venue. The walls are lined and made with love as is the food and OMFG I love Beer-Garitas.

Perched atop the building which opens up to Newtown Station, Calaveras sports some of the better views in Newtown, particularly in the evenings watching sunset over Stanmore. To get there, it's a bright and lively climb up the stairway and through their tastefully colourful decor. There is a festive vibe without feeling over the top, allowing for a cosy and polished atmosphere suitable for a nice dinner out with parents or a good few girlfriends. Calaveras definitely sports more of a restaurant vibe than a bar, although bar prices would speak otherwise.

Taco Tuesday drew us in, and after sampling a few of these (El Toro & Senor Pollo $3 on Tuesdays) we explored the rest of the menu. We most enjoy the Ceviche ($16) yet also tried the Totopos Azules ($10) which are essentially blue corn chips with chipotle and crumbled feta - delicious, but nothing too substantial. There's not too much going on in terms of flavour with the refried beans ($5) and overall there are mixed feelings with the food. Some items are zesty and fresh with bursts of flavour whereas more traditional items are a little bland.

We sampled the Death in Tijuana ($18) as well as the Oaxaca Old Fashioned ($16) but both fell a little flat. Perhaps stick to the beer.
Issac_eatsalot
Operating nights only, this cute upstairs fiesta is traditional Mexican cuisine - not your average Tex Mex joint. Loved the blue corn chips and guac - mojitos were amazing too! Would definitely reccomend for a good night out
Shoaib Mughal
Really bad mexican experience. Food had been pre prepared and microwaved as it was soggy and still cold in the middle. Sauce tasted of cheap student style pasta sauce. Service was incredibly slow. I certainly won't be returning. Especially for the cost; fair enough if it was $5, but it wasn't and for the price point - I expect a great experience if not amazing food.

Sizzle your evening at the hottest, liveliest, and one of my favourite Mexican restaurants. The decor will have you in party mode as soon as you enter plus the staff are incredibly friendly and entertaining. Spice up your appetite with various tapas dishes to share with highlight being the super cheesy ‘queso fundido’, chilli ‘flautus de pollo’ and the refreshing ‘ceviche de pescado’. Top your experience by trying their many incredible cocktails including my favourite, the ‘matador’, plus endless options to send your taste buds dancing.
Ningjaeats
Definitely a hidden gem in Newtown. You can definitely feel a taste of Mexico as you enter plus skulls and wall of tequila is a pretty big giveaway. Their cocktails are absolute bomb not to mention their delicious tacos too. Great place for groups - expect lively vibes and extremely friend waitstaff too.
Will Power
Not great at all! Poor waiter service. The $26 prawn fajitas were very under whelming, no sizzle, served on rice. Only 2 tortillas between 2 had to ask for more, arrived after we were sick of waiting! Did I mention slow service! Highly NOT recommend!!!! The churros in a Mexican restaurant also was terrible! The choc brownie too much baking powder horrid! How not to do Mexican!
Roohbir Singh
Bland, tasteless Mexican. They charge for the habanero and other chilli sauces that are standard at every Mexican place. The food takes too long to come out, the margaritas were completely inconsistent - one was way too sweet, the other was just too much tequila. We went as a group about a month or so ago and would highly recommend staying away from here.

Worst, worst, worst. Worst food. Joined Zomato just to write this review, Worst service. Second chance draw and they didn't even make it. Wouldn't even let us pay, made a scene walked out then they realised their mistake.

We sat at the bar near the cash register, requested our bill numerous times. Didn't get it, we were ignored by staff, bar manager and any persons involved so we walked out and went to the bar next door. We got no apology and no response in regards to our concerns after paying and we are extremely disappointed but not to worry the food was sub par
Janey Elmgreen
Second time I have come here. First time was ok - ok enough for me to try it again. Actually liked some of the food - but when it came to pay our bill - we waited over 30 mins to do so- after being ignored even tho we were sat right at the bar In front less than 1 metre from the bar manager and owner and trying to get their attention - we literally walked out with out paying! We were always going to come back and settle the bill - which we did - but this was outrageous. I have never had to do this before - worst service I have ever had- apart from the awesome bar woman with the blonde hair who was a legend. 0 out of a million
JohnRoberts
Walked in at 8:30. Ignored for a few minutes. The place was too loud. We couldn't hear each other talk. Waiters and waitresses would not be proactive in waiting the tables, we had to go out of our way to get their attention. And no, it wasn't that busy. We finally ordered food. We asked for chips and dip. The dip was $1 and was worth about 10 cents. it was tiny, as was the serving of chips. The food came out. I wasn't blown away by it. But I was blown away that it took over 40 minutes to bring out. It was still no more busy than before.

Knowing that it would take forever to get service again, I asked the waitress for the bill. She brought it out and I tried to put my card on the tray, but she walked away. She hesitated to process the payment immediately, but chose to walk away instead. So after trying a few times, I ended up taking the bill to the counter myself. $94 for dinner for four with no drinks.

Srsly what the crap guys? This was woeful. Horrible service whilst not even being able to communicate with each other at the table. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Imogen Speck
Not terrible but Pretty average. Food was pretty dull and wasn't authentic Mexican - lacked spices and flavour. The worst thing was the sangria which literally tasted like cordial mixed with cranberry juice.... The staff were nice but they seemed overworked/ understaffed - they were practically running everywhere.
Hannah Fried
The only Mexican food in Sydney that doesn't make me feel despair! I quite enjoyed the pork tacos, but they didn't have the few Mexican dishes I miss most from living in the States.
Princess_Porky
We generally don't eat a lot of Mexican in Sydney. And that just comes down to the fact that no one really does it that well. Oh and I'm not talking tacos that every second cafe or pub do - that doesn't count as Mexican! So we really enjoyed this place which was as authentic as anything we've seen before, even compared to Californian standards (sorry that's the closest I've ever gotten to Mexico 😆😆). The baked cheese and the pork tacos were the standouts here. And don't forget to grab a cocktail, they're pretty tasty (and potent)!
Ruth Kusionowicz
Came here on a Saturday night for my birthday meal with friends. Great atmosphere, friendly staff & loved the murals & decor! The food portions were a little on the small side for the price I thought. But everything is very fresh and full of fantastic complimenting flavours. So delicious! I had two chicken tacos and a chorizo taco, and sides of totopos (tortilla chips), guacamole & chipotle salsa as I like it spicy. But there are plenty of options for people who dont. Without drinks that came to $24.

The cocktails list is mostly tequila based (naturally!) and the ones we tried were all yummy with the alcohol not overpowering but still detectable and nicely complimented with the other ingredients. Our table were a particular fan of the [something] Roja which means 'red heart', but we also had traditional margaritas & mojitos. I particularly liked the skull glass that my Paloma cocktail came in :)

Would definitely recommend coming here. The only downside is the portion size & how warm it gets when it's busy.
Thefoodbotherer
Real Mexican food by real Mexicans so you really cannot go wrong here. The food is tasty and a great tequila and cocktail list. Can't wait to go back and try more off the menu.
2 Hungry Guys
It seems everyone is doing tacos these days. Even your every day cafe has a taco offering. But it's not often you come across a place that feels genuinely Mexican. Authentic. And Calaveras Mexican Cantina and Tequila Bar is legitimate, if nothing else. Run by folks with Mexican heritage. You can't beat that for authenticity!
Fork It
So disappointing. Guacamole passable but unfortunately that's where the positives end. Too sweet margaritas - mayo on the tacos - chorizo chopped up into cubes - bottled sauce poured over everything, pure slop. Seriously bad food that leaves you ill. Looking around the restaurant it seems that owner/manager is either a Canadian or American that has thought that Australians will accept any crap and think it's Mexican. Massive Fail. Should hang your heads in shame.
Two Girls One Fork
The best Mexican in Sydney! Not only is this a fun place to wile away an evening with friends over a sangria (or five), the food here is also EXCEPTIONAL. From the tasty guacamole to the tacos to the ceviche, you really can't go wrong. We'd recommend booking a table and bringing all your friends to try a bit of everything on the menu. If you're a taco person, make sure you try the pulled pork, it's seriously to die for. Melt in your mouth pork that comes with tangy pineapple atop a fresh tortilla. Yum! There's also heaps of Vegetarian options so there really is something for everyone. Recommended!
