I went here yesterday with a couple of friends and hand down the best Turkish cuisine I've ever had. better then upmarket restaurants I've been to in the CBD or docklands. the food was absolulty amazing. fresh delicious and well presented. the staff were so friendly and helpful. I cannot rate them highly enough. house of fides is now my favourite restaurant no doubt about it. 10/10 highly recommended!
If your after authentic homemade Turkish cuisine House of Fides is the place to go to.
Excellent food excellent service banquet for 2 was amazing their deserts were amazing especially the Turkish doughnuts to die for and their pita they make at the front was beautiful.
A must we will be going back again and highly recommending it to other.
Finally somewhere that knows the importance of dressing their salad! Food was all very tasty - the gozleme will be the catalyst of many return visits, absolutely delicious.
Best borehk ever. Very friendly staff. Service fast sometimes and very slow others. Authentic Turkish place. I'll be back.
This place serves up amazing Turkish cuisine and is a favorite among the locals. They are known for their Gozleme that is made freshly in house.
I would usually get the gozlemes for take away during lunch as its really fresh
Nice place on Keilor road which we had heard a lot about. Had a very good experience with polite service, amazing Turkish Tea and equally amazing Chicken Sheesh Kebab. The only thing we didn’t like was the taste of the Manti (mini lamb filled dumplings served with a batter of yoghurt and Ghee). The taste of the yoghurt was overpowering after a few bites and we thought the yoghurt should have been served on the side for us to add according to our taste. However will surely go back for the tea and the Chechen kebab and also try a few things more.
The ambedience, warm faces, peaceful music and food made me feel as though I was in Turkey. On top of all this, the food was spectacular. The lentil soup was flavourful, and the gozleme so fresh. Definitely visit this little gem if you’re around.
One of the best Turkish restaurants in Melbourne. I feel soo comfortable every time I come here.
Amazing service
Friendly staff
Quality of food A++++
Always a welcoming atmosphere - delicious food, very authentic. Little bit pricey and I feel portion size has definitely gotten smaller. Overall super tasty food and great service.

Visited for dinner this evening- mid week, start of winter, freezing. Really lovely service from a young girl- definitely a family run restaurant. I wanted to try the sweet Turkish tea but they were out, so I had the apple tea. To share, we ordered- two gozlome (lamb and feta), the mussels, 3 dips and bread, and the little Turkish dumpling / gnocchi things. The whole meal was delicious. There were only two things i thought- turkish bread with dip would have been nicer with warm bread and the mussels would have also been nicer warm, rather than cold. Thought it was really unusual they were cold.
I don’t usually eat Turkish food I’m fussy and came here with friends. Waitress recommended the scotch fillet with potatoes and tomato based sauce... I have been back again and again now one of my favourite restaurants. Delicious food
Nice Turkish food. Good value for money. Service was a bit slow however the food was nice with good sized portions and a range of yummy sides.
