Beautiful beetroot pear and radish salad with sour cream and walnuts. Loved the calamari with fennel, cucumber and dill in a tangy dressing. Well presented food with great flavour combinations.
Staff were awesome- so happy and friendly, really welcoming. I had the ricotta hotcakes which were delish, coffee was pretty good. Overall pretty happy and would recommend a brunch stop at this cute little joint!
Dropped in to have a quick bite to share, along with a few drinks.
In typical Noosa style, the staff are all smiles, very welcoming and attentive.
The food was lovely - we ordered the nachos with chicken. It came out fast and hot. Perfect!
We were eyeing off their sandwiches/rolls in the open cabinet for our plan to go on a hike the next day. We’ll be back!
Good breakfast place. Smoothie with banana and mango is so good. Mushrooms with egg and Bircher muesli was nice as well. Coffee was quite good
Stopped by for lunch on our weekend getaway. The service was outstanding. The food is priced really well and to a high standard and the decor was on trend. Highly recommend!!
Like everywhere these days the drinks were served in quirky jam jar glasses. But the taste of the milkshake was great. Healthy portion of syrup & ice cream, and our daughter loved the smiley face on her babychino. Its those little things that make people want to go back. However, like everywhere in Noosa there seems to be a 'tourist tax' which means its probably a little over-priced. We didn't eat (other than a delicious muffin), but the breakfasts coming out looked delicious.
Wow. Wow. Wow. After nearly wandering past one morning before hunger overtook us and decided we should stop in for a quick breaky, we were drawn into the tractor beam that is Canteen and never had breakfast anywhere else for the remainder of our honeymoon. The meals are outstanding... The corn fritters are served with a spicy aioli and guacamole that would make a Mexican blush, and - without a doubt - the hollondaise is by far the BEST I've ever eaten. Poached eggs are consistently perfect and even the Granola was outstanding. If we had to offer criticism, the avo on toast could do with a redesign, but... it's avo on toast. Loved this place and can't really see us eating breakfast elsewhere in Noosa...
Situated on the main road in Noosa junction, canteen cafe provides quick service and scrumptious feed from their friendly staff. Their slow roasted mushrooms and grilled haloumi was delicious!! The mushrooms were perfectly soft and juicy; paired beautifully with the sweet and salty haloumi.
Their griddle cakes might be the best I've ever had! Similar to corn fritters, the griddle cakes are packed with juicy sweet corn and a mild heat of jalapeño. Accompanied with all your favourite breakfast sides: crispy bacon, creamy smashed avo and juicy roasted cherry tomatoes- this dish will satisfy your brunch cravings. Finished off with a harrisa aioli, the creamy and spicy sauce adds a flavourful kick to the dish.
Tried the breakfast, eggs were awesome, bacon was nice and crispy. The pancakes were very thick but still fluffy. Daughter was very happy. The coffee and service was great. We would recommend.
A nice place. I prefer the old menu. It's now very generic and doesn't have same feel as it did before. Good for coffee catch ups or a lazy afternoon wine.
Service very ordinary; the two staff we dealt with had the, "I don't really want to be here" attitude. It was like they couldn't be bothered; which was a shame, as all three meals were quick, well presented and although small portions, they were very tasty and cooked to our expectations. The four stars are for the chef not front of house.
Comfortable spot for a breakfast. I had poached eggs and smashed avo. The pomegranate and dukkah was great, the other spread (I forget it may have been beet or something) tasty but I felt didn’t work with the smashed avo and pomegranates) I’d happily order it again maybe I’d just skip the spread. Coffee was good and service was lovely.
