A great find in a nice quiet residential street. Lots of outdoor tables for when the weather is good and a great range of reasonable priced selections (including a range of items for the kids). The coffee was great, the pikelets were fluffy and yummy (had to eat some of my kids...) and who could go past a croque monsieur? A definitely place to come back to.
Such a great local cafe, with intention & care they really share a homely feel. The service has been wonderful, friendly and attentive. Food was generous in it's serving but delicious and reasonably priced. With a changing muffin (delicious)and vegetarian/ vegan options, it's worth checking out.
Situated away from the busy street and hidden in a beautiful residential area, this Cafe tops one of my go-to inner north neighborhood gems!
Food was licking good! Had the sweet potato fritters and some of the tofu scrambled from my friend and was very thoroughly impressed. Loved the spicy salsa that came with the tofu!
What can be improved on is definitely the service. Slow to the point where they may have lost our order! Had to remind them again. Still wouldn’t stop me from returning.
They have both outdoor and indoor seating. However do note the space is small :)
Delicious, comfortable and off the main drag. Great service, coffee and the giant beans are just the best. I love this tiny little place on a rainy day or just sitting outside watching the world go by. Yum.
Matter of fact service and simple decor in a quiet spot in North Fitzroy. Had the meatballs which were a bit chunky. Sauce was tasty. Menu looks pretty good. Would come again if in the area.
Cute little corner cafe off the busy areas in Fitzroy North. Solid menu with some varied options. All three meals ordered were delicious - harissa scrambled eggs was filling and tasty. Coffee was okay but not up there with the best. Staff were friendly and casual.
Best Caffeine Free Chai in Melbourne. They make their own almond milk too. A 100% guilt free and super clean drink. I always have to sacrifice my health at other paces but not Mitte.
I have been to Mitte for breakie 3 times in the past 6 weeks - and have enjoyed it equally each time! Staff are nice, coffee is great, and food is delicious. I ordered the scrambled eggs, avocado and mushrooms. The serve was very generous and fairly priced. Will continue going here regularly :-)
My partner and I called in here for brunch today. This is a cute little local cafe in Fitzroy north.
The service was ok, so relaxed I didn't think that they'd take our order lol.
My piccolo latte was really watery unfortunately and not very good at all.
Foodwise I had my signature bacon and eggs. The poached eggs were really good, and the sourdough was great. The smoky bacon was alright, but I did ask for crispy bacon twice and the bacon was underdone.
Overall this place was alright, not a standout for me though. But if you like ppl watching sit against the window as there was lots of interesting things to see haha
Fantastic little cafe hidden in the back streets of North Fitzroy. Extensive menu with lots of variety and daily specials. $60 for 4 coffees and 3 meals. Porridge was a decent serving size however needed extra crumble. The pear would have been better if it was poached a little longer as it was hard therefore difficult to eat with a spoon. Quick, friendly service. Can't wait to return!
