Sacred Fig is by far the best Indian food in Clifton Hill. Great curries, nice and thick, breads have recently changed and are now larger and a little fluffier. Excellent quality and pricing. There is only 1 issue: delivery partners. Sadly Uber Eats can be next to useless and I have had 2 occasions

The Sacred Fig used to be reliably great. But the last two takeaways I've had were not so good. Although the gravy was tasty, both times the chicken in my Madras had gristly bits.Today the veggie curry was flavourless (used to be great) and the naan bread was dry. Hopefully this is just a blip.

Exceptional Indian food. Best I've had in Melbourne and closest to British level of quality (despite some nearby Indians claiming to be 'British style'). Would highly recommend the daal and the any of the dishes with mushroom. The lamb is lovely and tender too.

I’m really sorry, I hate leaving negative reviews and I hope on this occasion it was a one off but this was really not good. My vegetable korma tasted like a pasta sauce. Really fatty, too much cream and couldn’t taste any Indian flavours at all. Sag aloo is one of my fave dishes and this one wasn

Extensive take away menu. Fantastic and authentic Indian cuisine, as I am assured by Indian born friends I have taken there. We are working our way through the menu, but have discovered a few favourites along the journey. Friendly and professional in-house service. Works as very high calibre comfort

Family owned restaurant. Chef/ owner has his heart and soul in his kitchen. We were served with amazing food; all the varieties we ordered and all thanks to Chef. Loved it! Definitely worth visiting if you are a big fan of Nepalese and Indian Cuisine.

I had ordered a chicken curry and it was not at all good. To start with, the curry lacked any taste of spices or Indian flavours. The chicken pieces had a very strange and not good taste to it. The dish was certainly not good. I have never had a curry tasting so funny before. The ambience seems nice
