Really good food and friendly service, even our fussy 5 year old enjoyed the rice and beautifully cooked chicken korma. Will be returning! Would recommend

Food is great, fresh ingredients, well
Cooked, heaps of variety and very healthy serves. Delicious - we’ll be back very soon.

Delicious, thoughtful and quality Indian food.
In the former place of Clifton Hill stalwart Tutti Sapori restaurant is Sacred Fig. The food (3 different dhal and a delicious salmon korma) makes this place stand out from others in the area. We have eaten in and had takeaway 3/4 times. No complaints. The service is quiet and friendly. We hope it stays. The kulfi is to die for. Get it before you start your new years’ resolution!

Sacred Fig is by far the best Indian food in Clifton Hill. Great curries, nice and thick, breads have recently changed and are now larger and a little fluffier. Excellent quality and pricing. There is only 1 issue: delivery partners. Sadly Uber Eats can be next to useless and I have had 2 occasions where my meals were just cancelled by Uber an hour after ordering as delivery drivers are not being allocated. With this in mind I highly recommend phoning and picking up to ensure you get your meal hot and fresh. Collecting from the store also means the restaurant is not giving away 30% to a delivery partner. Support local business - deal straight with the restaurant.

Exceptional Indian food. Best I've had in Melbourne and closest to British level of quality (despite some nearby Indians claiming to be 'British style'). Would highly recommend the daal and the any of the dishes with mushroom. The lamb is lovely and tender too.

Extensive take away menu. Fantastic and authentic Indian cuisine, as I am assured by Indian born friends I have taken there. We are working our way through the menu, but have discovered a few favourites along the journey. Friendly and professional in-house service. Works as very high calibre comfort food, too!

Family owned restaurant. Chef/ owner has his heart and soul in his kitchen. We were served with amazing food; all the varieties we ordered and all thanks to Chef. Loved it! Definitely worth visiting if you are a big fan of Nepalese and Indian Cuisine.
