I am a massive critic, and am usually disappointed by bad coffee, cheap soy milk, poorly presented and flavourless food.. BUT this cafe is fantastic on all levels including cost and service! Serious folks, this place is the bomb!!!
Had a great experience! Awesome food and friendly staff. I had the salmon and it was very yummy. Only negative was no where to change my baby but the staff did offer a quiet place to put my pram to change Bub there. No pressure to leave straight after we ate so it was a nice and relaxing place to catch up with friends. Will be going back again.
This cafe is located on Avon Road. Plenty of parking available out the front. It was quite busy when I was here. I was seated quite quickly and given a menu. Once you decide what you want, you’ll need to go up to the register to place your order and pay. Service was nice.
I had a Green Tea Latte and Shakshuka. The latte was nice without being too bitter. Shakshuka had a little bit of a spicy kick from the tomato and capsicum sauce mixed with chorizo. A 63 degree slow cooked egg topped it and was lovely. Big chunks of turkish bread accompanied this dish. It was tasty.
Always prettt full at breakfast and brunch times, and understandably so.
The food is delicious and well presented.
The lady behind the counter was a little distracted when we ordered which was a little annoying as she had to ask us a few times about our order.

Great food and service and prices are good. Very interesting menu. Too crowded and noisy though. I go there often. Parking can be a problem.
Location : very close to our place. We love that we have another good cafe that we can go closeby. If you're driving there's a few car space provided , if your catching public transpo a bit of walk from Macquarie park . But if your catching a bus its close bumy get off at Epping rd. After wicks rd. It's pretty easy to find
Service : is great 5/5 very friendly customer service accomodating as well. It's our first time here to come and every one is very welcoming
Food :. We went for a brunch. Love the big servings !!! We've ordered (top dish) Breakfast Board with Cappucino and (bottom dish) The Dining Big Breakfast with red velvet latte . We love the poached eggs that cooked perfectly !!
The only thing we didn't like is the small serving of Cappucino. We're big fan of coffee and would appreciate differrnt sizes of cup for dinning in . Not sure if they do have different sizes but only small ones we've seen around (i forgot to ask when I ordered 🤦♀️ my bad)
Otherwise everything is perfect and love it !! Definitely coming back soon to try the dinner menu :)
The Dining and Co is well known for being a suburban gem in North Ryde for breakfast/lunch. More recently, they have decided to open for dinner. Matt and I decide to check it out on a cold Thursday night. The usual casual cafe is transformed at night time with table service, white table cloths and little touches such as lighting, flowers and new dinner menu. There are only a few dinner options in North Ryde, mostly casual. The Dining and Co. would be the only modern Australian venue in North Ryde that's a little bit more refined then the usual fish and chip shop, Thai or Indian.
The Ricotta pancakes are a must. My husband and I usually order 1 savory and 1 sweet dish to share for breaky.. Admittedly when the pancakes came out I was left a little flat. They looked dense and weirdly shaped .. but boy was I wrong. Delicious in flavor, light on the inside with a slight crunch to the exterior. The breakfast board was generous and everything was tasty and well cooked. Lots of parking in the local area and tucked away in the suburbs of north ryde. It will definitely become a regular for us. Ive been craving those pancakes ever since!
Came here on a Sunday late lunch. The place was pack with people. We had the grilled baby calamari salad and the spanner crab meat ink pasta. The calamari was very tender. Both were delicious and nice presentation. Seasoning was just perfect. Would definitely recommend!
Great menu and nice local cafe in Ryde. Popular for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Service is always good. My favourite is the breakfast board. Definitely one of the better cafes in the area!
A wonderful and cosy cafe in a corner street, very family friendly and polite staff. Always quite busy and popular, but provide good food and coffee at a suitable price ! Highly reccomond
Discovered this cafe recently near my church and had been there twice so far as the food there sounds simple on the menu but turns out really good and tasty. It’s the little touches they add to the dish. The first tube I had the Brioche French Toast with vanilla mascarpone, maple syrup, pistachio snow and fresh berries. I spied it coming out from the pass and it looked too good to ignore! It’s not too overly sweet too which was great. The second time we had the Chorizo & eggs, Vegetarian breakfast and Iced Coffee. Both were good, loved the sauce and the extra butter that came with both. Could have eaten the butter and sourdough just by itself! Service is really friendly, will definitely be back!
