Good Lebanese food with belly dancing entertainment. Average cocktails...I ordered a cosmo but didn't enjoy it it lacked flavour. The food was definitely the highlight. We ordered the banquet approx $55 pp and it was enough food to go around. I recommend this place if you like authentic Lebanese food with post dinner entertainment.
Lovely Lebanese restaurant, very fresh food, great wines & general vibes from the staff. Very nice place to start off with traditional Lebanese food.

If you're craving authentic and delicious Lebanese food in a cosy restaurant that feels like home, then you can't go past this place!
On a rainy winters night, my friend and I were treated to the most sumptuous spread of food you could imagine. And the staff are so damn lovely and chatty, it makes the whole experience a great night out.
If you're coming to Zenobia I've got two recommendations:
1. Come hungry!
2. Bring a group! Their menu is packed with so many tasty choices that you will want to order lots and you need hungry bellies to share it all with!
Here's what we devoured. And by devoured I mean barely got through half and took the rest home for a second meal today - score!
Dips:
- smoked labni. Labni is a strained yoghurt so it's got a nice thick consistency and it's so damn delicious. Just when I thought it couldn't get better Zenobia have gone and smoked it adding a gorgeous taste perfect for dipping!
- hummus with the added bonus of tiny pieces of tender lamb and pine nuts mmmm.
Entrees:
- fried kibbeh. Deep fried rolls of minced lamb with pine nuts and onion. I basically dipped everything I could in the labni haha.
- pan fried haloumi. A totally different take on haloumi! They crust it in almond flour and sesame which forms a crispy coating and you cut inside to a melted consistency!
- potato coriander. Diced potatoes coated in the tastiest combo of garlic, coriander, lemon and chili. A nice lil zing!
Main:
- chicken shawarma. The most succulent marinated chicken served with yummy chips, pickles and a garlic dipping sauce.
Drink:
- Lebanese lemonade. A cool looking green and super refreshing green concoction packed with lemon and mint.
Overall, a wonderful night was had here and well definitely be back for a Lebanese fix soon!

Spacious inside and out this place rocks out grilled dishes as fast as a salad. Ample seating for smoking some apple heads or pineapple heads outside.
Inside decor was interesting, with couch and pillows everywhere. Love it.

First time trying Zenobia. There was a slight mix up at the beginning however the waiters sincerely apologised and offered us free drinks for the extra wait. Daniel proceeded to come out and personally say sorry which was very much appreciated. They definitely made up for the mix up! Would definitely be back here - Food was amazing and one of the best wings I've ever had :)

Always walked past this cultural restaurant though finally stopped by and had a great experience.
We ordered a number of entrees inclusive of vegetarian vine leaves, taboulleh and fattoush. Ever since being fed home made vine leaves from a Lebanese family, no vine leaf wrap came close to the exquisite flavours of an authentic middle eastern cooking. I will confidently say Zenobia have helped in reliving the moments. The vine leaves had an extremely fresh, pleasant succulent zing to it. This was the highlight of the night.
I found the tabboulleh quite wilted. Given it most likely was made fresh that morning, it still had an unpleasant, old texture to the salad though the lemon dressing was perfectly balanced.
We also ordered fattoush which was another authentic dish with a veggie salad dressed with fresh pomegranate dressing and garnished with lightly fried, crispy pieces of Lebanese bread. This dish is recommended due to its freshness and exotic mix of flavours on the one salad.
I ordered a BBQ Quail which was tasty though the high number of small bones in that bird would drive an impatient eater insane. Which it did. I was expecting a stronger BBQ flavour than a lightly marinated dressing but nevertheless was tasty.
The other main choices were BBQ lamb skewers which was given a nod of approval (I didn't get a chance to taste it) and Kafta skewers which came on sword skewers! I found the meat a tad dry after a few bites but I liked the idea of packing the kafta with a few veggies.
Overall I would highly recommend the entrees and certainly will return just for them. I personally found the main disappointing and brought down the experience but the entrees are welcome to be fed to my tummy!
There are a lot of things said about Zenobia but I had a good experience there - the food and atmosphere made for an enjoyable night out. Your results may vary but all in all I would revisit.
Delicious food here. Having visited a few times with friends new to Lebanese cuisine, this was a great starter for them. The interior is gorgeous, food is to die for, and service is great. There's even a bellydancer on weekends! Only downside is the pricing, which makes it a bit too steep to consider coming here for anything but a special occasion. I find the banquets to be the best value.
Delicious. Worth ordering individual dishes instead of banquet, you get a lot more! Salads were fresh n delicious and chicken moist. Will be returning!
August 2017: Returned after a long while. Service was good. Food delicious. Vine leaves were yum. Calamari wasn't good. Everything else very tasty. Look forward to my next visit. They do this really loud happy birthday song with a verse and everything... have just the person who will be embarrassed by it, will return for her birthday.
Ate at Zenobia in North Strathfield. Although I have lived a 5 minute drive to this place for the past 10 years, I never knew there was a little hub in North Strathfield and how many restaurants are located here.
The food was amazing and plentiful. Salad was freshly made and the mixed plate skewers were very tender and delicious. Friendly and accommodating service. Sauvignon blanc had a nice crisp taste and coffee served was refreshing. Definelty will be going again.
I've been here 3 times over the years and food quality has been consistent throughout. Well-presented and freshly made Lebanese traditional food, better than my Mon’s 😊. One warning to new comers if ordering the banquets, pace yourself and do not fill out your stomach on the first few dishes that are served out – save some space for the chicken, lamb and meet plates that are served last. The food is so nice is easy to get carried away and pig out leaving no room for the later plates 😊

Had a birthday dinner here tonight. Food was delicious and comes in generous servings. The decor, music and dancers are equally as awesome. Farzana, our waitress was extraordinary and without her our night wouldn't have been anywhere near as wonderful. The 5th star in this rating is specifically for her. Thanks very much!
