Review Paradise Biryani House - North Strathfield

Melinda Seeto
The food is tasty (we order various dishes but butter chicken and garlic naan are our favorites) We like the level of spice here.. the owner Krishna Kumari and her husband accommodates requests for heat adjustment so we get the super mild dishes for our kids. The Rasmalai is fresh and creamy with a depth of flavor. They pack the food very thoughtfully when getting takeaways. This restaurant also opens late in the lovely Bakehouse Quarter. Ah and the mango lassi is full of real mango! They have regular patrons & food is authentic — I wish them more visibility as this restaurant is underrated since new management took over 3 years ago.

I eat buffet breakfast regularly great variety for the price you pay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I honestly don't know how they make any profit by selling at that price. Everything is freshly cooked and yummy. The quality of the food shows their passion and dedication to serve specially our Indian communities and Australians who loves clean home cooked food, which we are used to cooked by our mothers. Great job keep it up. I strongly recommend this place for everyone. Ravi Kumar

Update May 2021: Ordered Gobi 65, Egg bonda, Veg biryani and Veg thali. The service, like last time was slow. Gobi 65 was tangy and tasty. Egg bonda was bad. It had no taste and was bland. The nan and dal in Veg thali was VERY good. Paneer butter masala in thali was sweet and wasn't good. Sambar was average. We had a lot of expectation from Veg biryani, but we were very disappointed. 80% was plain basmati rice and only 20% had spices. This, after requesting the waitress to make the biryani spicy. 3/5 for food, 2/5 for service. March 2021: We went to the party hall there and the hall is good for 18-20 people. Due to heavy rain, the place was leaking here and there resulting in wet floor. Now, coming to the food, though my friend had asked to make the food medium spicy, it was quite spicy. I love spicy food, so it was fine for me. But others were sweating and had running nose. Gobi 65 and Paneer 65 was good, but was missing mint chutney. Rotis were a bit hard, but the curries were good. Biryani was awesome, and tasted like authentic Hyderabadi biryani. However, their service is TERRIBLE. They brought the starters, but forgot the the cutlery. When we asked for cutlery, they took a while to get it. By then, the food was cold. They took a lot of time to get rotis. Probably that's the reason for the hardness of rotis. Then, they took a while to get biryani. Well, they have to improve their service to improve their reputation. PERIOD. Overall, 4/5 for spicy Hyderabadi food and 2/5 for the service.

In simple words, they have made sure that we never visit this place again. I have visited this place many times but ironically my recent visit to this place is the worst of Indian food that I’ve ever tasted. My mates were also had a similar grief. Hope they bring their old days.

We have been to this place quite frequently for the last couple of months for weekend Breakfast Buffet. All the items were spot on. Idli is super soft, punugu is nice and crispy the highlight is pav bhaji. There are other items too but these are my favourite s. In the end mixed fruit and nut kesar as a desert👌 The taste is exactly as in Hyderabad. Ill give 5 start to tomato chutney and palli chutney too. I have also noticed the food runs out by around 11 must have a good regular customer base. Food 5 star Taste 5 star Items 5 star Chutney sambar 5 star Service as its a buffet all that they need to do is hand you the plates so 5 star Access 5 star have their own parking Its a must visit.

A woeful experience. The garlic naan and plain rice were okay, though nothing to boast about. The samosa were greasy, overly spicy hot, and inedible. The papadums were regrettably oily. The Chicken Korma and Lamb Saag were both very spicy and offensive to the senses. I gave up after only a few of bites, as the food was very poor quality.

Went yesterday night for the first time and got a worst experience. The lady who was working there not customer friendly at all. It seemed like she was getting irritated to serve the customers, but which is her job(The store was not busy anyway). No eye contact, smile while taking to a customer. When she gave me the parcel did not say a single word, which was rude. About the food, I ordered family mutton biriyani but got chicken biriyani instead. On the reciept it was written mutton biriyani too. However, the taste was okay.

I went to this place after a year or so and ordered Masala dosa and Tandoori chicken. Both of the items were good but the chutneys that came along with dosa were bit spicy for me. The customer service was good and price was reasonable.
Sydneyguyrojoe
The food is not bad and reasonably priced. I asked for mild and the curries all had a bit of a kick to it. Unfortunately the naans were a little burnt and was of average size

Quiet good restaurant with reasonable price and good portion size. Loved their biryani and also garlic paneer. If you live nearby somewhere it’s a casual go to option.
Food-3.5/5
Ambience-3/5
Service-3/5
Price-4/5

Have visited this place twice but do not plan to go again. They are famous for their biryani but I didn’t like it.Tried their veg as well as lamb biryani. Its too spicy and oily. The mango lassi is what made me survive the biryani.

I could not believe that we can find the real North Indian tandori chicken in Australia as well. This place has taken me back, like certainly a few thousand kilometers.
So good to savour my favourite tandori chicken!
I ordered chicken Biryani as the main dish, though it wasnt very much of my taste, I reordered the half tandori chicken to relish the taste for a longer period.

This is a hit or miss restaurant. One day you will get wonderful food and on the other, really bad food. I always take away from here and mostly biriyani and some chicken appetizer.
The last time I bought biriyani and chicken 65 was on a mid week. The biriyani was not fresh and the big piece of chicken on the biriyani didn't really taste good. The chicken 65 was coated with huge amount of flour and very little chicken was there. I would go there again as there are no other restaurant with good dum biriyani around this area.

This place is one of our most frequently visited places. We started with take away and then started dining in. During weekends including Thursday, it gets super crowded and once we literally waited for about 40mins for our tandoori chicken.

Service is a bit slow probably because of the crowd.

Coming to the food..I always loved the breads here.
Our fav of all curries are Kodi kuda & Chicken chukka, can be called their signature dishes. Starters we tried few but chicken 65 has always been consistently good. Fish Apollo isn’t that great(was salty the one time that we ordered).
Now about biryani...hubby always liked it and so do I. It’s not exactly like Hyderabadi paradise biryani, but it’s flavoursome and tasty.

Finally, this is our go to place when we crave for Andhra kodi kura and biryani!! 👍

The biryani taste and its effects forced me to give a review here. This is the worst biryani ever. It tasted like hell. We still managed to eat and later when gave feedback to the waiter he replied Oh yes, the chicken was some what old and I am sorry. Thats it... This is the kind of service we get here. There is a consistent pain in my stomach since 2 days and lasted me going to hospital and get a treatment. Never go this place....
Expecting a reply and an action from the owner of the restraunt for serving such a worst food to its customers.
Alichef007
All my Muslim people be very careful this place doesn’t serve halal meat they tend to mix non halal meat that’s the reason I left the job here (Ali chef )stay away from this place very dodgy management with no morals

We are on so called Hyderabad’s dum briyani hunt. Went there thinking they will do some justice to Hyderabad briyani but failed miserably. Reached here at 9:20 but they refused to give us the table saying they can do only takeaways at this time. Before us other tables are still giving the orders.
We order the chicken and mutton briyani takeaway and eat the same in their parking. Briyani’s are more like masala rice with lots of oil. Chicken briyani got only one big piece which was different to manage whereas mutton briyani is almost all rice.

Been here couple of times, They sell decent biryani and chicken 65. They also sell horrible dosa and South Indian breakfast items. On my recent visit here for a breakfast, I ordered puri and a few varieties of dosa, firstly it arrived a bit late but I don’t mind that as I was expecting them to make it fresh. Surprisingly, dosa was cold and the chutneys were also cold it was like an out of fridge item, and one of the masala in it also had a smell to it which implied it’s been stored for a bit. When I pointed that out to the staff, they said it was fresh, well I was with a friend of mine quite a foodie both of us couldn’t digest there explanations. One thing with this place though is they are cheaper comparatively, however the quality is clearly compromised.
There’s definitely much more better places than this.
Shelly Jones
This is possibly the worst Indian restaurant I've been to in Sydney. The place smells like an old shoe, our order took 45 minutes to show up, the dosa was undercooked and sambar was cold and the servings of sambar and masala in the dosa were too small. You need the food at this place like a shot in the foot.

When I miss Hyderabad (which happens more than often) I end up here...the best India food in Sydney.
You have to try the chicken 65 served with lemon here... its my favorite dish hands down.
The staff is attentive and friendly and chirpy.
not heavy on your pocket especially for a new immigrant who wants to go out and enjoy food.
The only drawback is the hotel is not located near the train station, so you gotta do some walking to reach here but who is complaining when you have delicious and spicy food served :):)

All right, I am telling you, I am so excited about writing this one. You know in my previous posts, I have spoken about Biryani, the different styles and the best ones in Sydney I like. . Well, there is now a new entry into this list. Its the Paradise Biryani House at North Strathfield. . One of my very good friends from work and from Hyderabad, we regularly talk about Hyderabad, in Hyderabad lingo and recall all those wonderful days at Hyderabad. And any talks about Hyderabad is not complete till we talk about the food and the biryani. Well, had it been Hyderabad, it would have been Bawarchi and Paradise for our Biryani adventures. Being in Sydney, and talking about Biryani at Hyderabad every day and every week, really did make us nuts and drool and hallucinate about biryani.
Salini Devi Ramaraj
This place offers absolutely mouthwatering biriyani when you are away from your hometown. We also had roti and chicken gravy. To my disappointment it had too little gravy and few chicken pieces in a small bowl. I didn’t enjoy as much as I did the biriyani. The ambience is not so welcoming and the service is definitely disheartening. May be a takeaway of biriyani from this place will give me a better experience.
Kanna
VERY POOR QUALITY FOOD and Horrible service. Chicken Tandorri was stale and looked like 2 days old and the none of the entrees were good. The special egg pland Andra curry was taste less and had no flavour

Dont know why these negative reviews out there for this decent place. I visit there atleast once a week for their tandoori chicken.(for lack of other options). Biryani taste depends on your luck on that day. Dont go there for there dosa items.Guthi vanka was good everytime though quantity is less. Andhra staples are all good. Tandoori chicken is passable. Biryani I am sure they make it only 3 or 4 times a week and re-heat it, so all depends on your luck. But all this bashing especially over ambience, service quality, cleanliness are unwanted , for the price you pay this is satisfactory. You shouldnt be here to enjoy a romantic dinner with your girl. You come here to just eat and there food is above average.
Azam Charaniya
Service is late as per last few experiences, so ordered take away Mutton biryani. Just spoiled Sunday's dinner and made me decide not to visit again, unless there is no other better option. Biryani's meat looked a little under cooked, and the taste of Biryani itself wasn't good. It was just not expected from Paradise. Once, twice, thrice similar experience and hence this review.
Sorry to say, but needs lot of improvement at least in your specialised Biryani!

Food: 5/10
Service: 7/10
Price: 8/10
Ambiance: 7/10

Food: For Indian food, this wasn't the best place. Ordered the Butter Chicken, which was too creamy. However, the Garlic Paneer was really good. It has a bit of spice to it which made it very tasty and interesting to eat. The Garlic Naan was good, but nothing special.

Service: Service was good, went around 7pm and there wasn't a lot of people. However, the food took about 30mins to come out. So it's not ideal if you're looking for a quick bite!

Price: Reasonable! Butter Chicken was $14.90, Garlic Naan was $2.90 and Garlic Paneer was $8.90.

Ambience: It's a small restaurant but it's cosy and has warm lighting. It's also pretty quiet and inviting.

Awful food. Biryani is supposed to be their specialty and it was absolutely the worst dish of the lot. Rice was stuck together, hardly any meat. So was the chicken 65 which was mostly batter and chillies and curry leaves.
Think it's gone into their heads. And to top that the service is atrocious.
Kiran KumarB
We went there yesterday afternoon to have a chicken biryani, ordered starter chicken 65 by seeing the color of the dish seems to be yummy. But after having it, came to know that the chicken is spoiled and when asked the Waiter he was silent and he had no courtesy to even say apologies. Be careful when you eat food out there.

Only have biryani at this place as they cannot cook any other dishes properly. Also their customer service is no good - they will ignore customers while in the retiring - only option is to takeaway. All in all, limited options but it's not pricey and biryani is decent.

I went to this place few days back....been there previously....however dining experience was really bad....so thought of getting a take away....while placing the irder...i was told that order will be ready in 15 minutes...however tyee were no signs of order even after 35 minutes.....after chasing up guy at the counter...order was ready after an hour.....
BIRIYANI was damn cold....like it was out from refrigerator....when asked this to kitchen people....was suggested that they can microwave if required.

Anyways went home....i had chicken chukka....it was such a a horrible dish...full of smelly oil....had 2 garlic naan with that and my stomach was in very bad position next day...

Never recomended place...
Bad service
Worst food....
Poor service, boring ambience, bad food, total disappointment. Tried veg biryani earlier which was decent so tried to visit again. Biggest mistake of my life to order a vegetarian thali. One of the 2 curries was inedible. Couldn't identify what was served for dessert. Visit at own risk.
Ambigai Shiva
Took 40 minutes for a person to bring out a mutton biriyani which hadeChinese takeaway container imprints all over. Burnt rice was included. The mutton biriyani had no taste.

- I went there to order takeaway of Chicken biriyani and Chicken 65. The Chicken in the chicken 65 was like a leftover.
- Place and the Kitchen area (can see through the glass window) is so dirty and stinks.
- Waiters are very poorly dressed (worn out shoes, dirty / crumbled shirt/pants)
- Stinky and dirty glasses, plates, spoons.

Worst Restaurant in the Sydney ... We went to dinner today and we waited more than 1.50 hours only for 1 biriyani and one curry. We came out without eating at the time of 9.20.. most worst service I ever seen ... they don't even say sorry.. I don't even want to give 1 rating ...
Ayush Jain
I just had the vegetable biryani here so I my rating is based only on that. It was decent. I am not a big biryani fan, and this one was nothing great as well. Ambience was boring and plain, with limited seating. Waiter were not friendly. Prices were cheap compared to other Indian restaurants in Sydney.

This is from a regular who used to live this place. Some of you might think it's a rant but all honesty just Disappointed with quality, hygiene and delay in food.
The waiter was wiping his sweat on forehead and using that same hand to present us the spoon!!!! Going good....nope... he held the spoon by the head!!
We Ordered veg biriyani, chicken biriyani and 3 plates of mirchi baaji. The baajis were sort of lost in quality but never the less we finished those. After waiting for 78 mins we got served chicken biriyani only with cold cooked chicken piece mixed with spices and rice..... we just had to cancel all and walk out.

@Paradise management - You just lost a regular and if you don't improve.... all I can say....good luck.

After googling for " Hyderabadi biryani" Indian food. Read a lot of good reviews about the food. Visited Sat evening. Place stinks badly. The waiters are very rude. Dirty table, spoons, plates & glasses. Ordered lamb biryani served left over fried rice and biryani mix with 3 bones on top. When complained a waiter with round moustache started explaining biryani is like this. Worst experience of my life total waste of time and money on leftover old mixed food with rude service. Even after speaking to the owner Sudharshan they didn't care . The owner told me it's fresh. Asked to check the vessel I entered the kitchen I felt like pucking the kitchen is so dirty that even the worst restaurant in India is better than this. I can't believe how the council is ignoring such a stinky place. The food is prepacked in boxes they are heating it and serving . Won't be surprised if some one gets food poisoning.

I submitted the below review 15 days ago and here's the updated one. I loved it last time and went again for the garlic paneer. It was miserable and the worst I ever tried in my life. No wonder we had to throw it away. They used pre cooked dish which was re-fried again for our order. Paneer was harder than a piece of leather. Gravy was missing as probably refrying dri d it up...will I go again ?? Don't think so..

Old submission :

If you like vegetarian Biryani this is the place you will not get disappointed atleast in terms of food. The ambience may not be the best and courteousness and greetings may be missing but we enjoyed the veg biryani a few times we have tried it. Another dish we loved is Garlic paneer which was really nicely done with fresh paneer ( cottage cheese 🧀) and loads of super spicy garlic gravy. Take away recommended instead of booking a table there.

“Dirty, Devoid of Ambience, Unhygienic”

My mother and I was told to try this place and assumed they specialised in Indian food. First of all this place shouldn't even be running as a food joint. The place is dingy and filthy dump and I wonder how the council has granted permission to run.

Anyway, We were seated next to the kitchen's pigeon hole where food was coming out. We ordered some dishes. The table was sticky with left overs. The cutlery was not clean and water bottle and glasses seems never washed. It took 45 minutes to get our food when there were only few other customers. The food was excessively chilli hot and inedible.

I wanted to go to toilet and accidentally entered kitchen, the place was so dirty which I cannot express in words. I am frequent visitor to Asia but never seen a place like this worst.

this place is "the most unhygienic" place ever seen in my life. In fact, this place is so dangerous to run as a food joint that it's awaiting a disaster to happen.
Siddhanth Reddy Vanga
I waited for 30 minutes for the chicken biryani and staff was really rude
Worst place to come if you are really hungry
If you want some respect from staff then you can find any other place to have a meal
I'm not coming here again
Mitra Mulya Yaman
If I can give it no stars I would. Came to the restuarant during its opening hours but the waiter locked the door as he saw my husband and I walking to the restuarant. Was to busy on the phone and said with hand motions that he is closed DURING ITS OPENING HOURS. Worst experience in history. Dont bother coming here.
DGomes
Ordered take away here tonight and wish I never did!
The lamb biryani was inedible as the rice was greasy and the meat hard as rock (one would need a saw to cut through it).
Also ordered a naan and lamb korma. The korma was average and the naan was stale so basically most of my meal ended up in the bin. Remind me never to order a meal from Paradise Biryani House!

We were quite excited to try Indian food and heard good things about this place from a colleague of mine.

At 8.30 PM on a Tuesday night, the place had 3-4 groups, about 1/3 full which was pretty promising. When we got in, there was no waiter in the dining area. There was a clear view of the kitchen and the chef but still it took over five minutes before a waiter came out. Instead of greeting us, however, he went straight to another table to get their bill. 'Maybe he didn't see us?' I tried to reason. Unlikely, though, as it wasn't a very large restaurant. But then the waiter actually crossed the room right past us to grab something. No greeting. No eye contact. No apologies for the delay. Nothing. It was absolutely shocking the service or rather lack of it. I've been to plenty of restaurants where the service is a bit slow / sloppy and I've been tolerant as long as the food is good. I generally don't even write negative reviews. I would either not write anything at all or give them at least a second chance.

But to be completely dismissed and be treated as invisible is incredibly insulting and degrading. It doesn't matter how good the food is. This behaviour is not acceptable anywhere, especially in the hospitality business.

Let's just say they have completely lost ours.
Kapil Bahl
Worst ever experience. They are bringing bad name to Indian/Asian food.
We ordered garlic paneer, a veg and a non-veg biryani.
Got the paneer first. Well, if you have not eaten fried white eraser in barbecue sauce.. be their guest.

After waiting 25 mins n several reminders we got the biryani. And yes no award for guessing it was cold. Insult on the injury, it was stale as well.

Bottom line, be there at your own risk.
Avinash Himanshu
Well , this is the best biriyani I could get during my stay in Sydney.
The place is not so good looking but the staff is courteous.
Chicken and Mutton briyani are good and even the Hyderabadi style starters tastes awesome.
Will recommend this place to rejuvenate your taste buds
Awatar
Two boys normally on service. Both very unproffessional and rude. Worst indian restaurant ever...
Food comes always late...dirty and unhygienic place to eat.
Trevor
Absolutely disgusting food. The thali is less than edible and the service is rubbish. We suspect the food is days old. The council should take a look in the kitchen. We walked, the food was terrible.

Dropped in here after hearing a lot about their biryani. Wasn't tat impressed but definetly not tat bad too. Other than the biryani, just loved their apolo fish. That's something people must try.

after a long thinking i visited this place being hungry for biryani.. everything was good biryani was tasty and spocy gravy and raita are also good. plates are too small as we cannot eat properly. overall good
pa pa paradise👌

Been there a couple of times. Tried chicken starters, chicken curry, naan and Chicken Biryani. Food is delicious. No disappointments. The rates are reasonable.

Ambience: 5/5 very homely and cosy
Food: I ordered butter chicken, seekh kebab, garlic naan, cheese naan, and a pista kulfi at the end.
The butter chicken was one of the best I have ever had. It was not overly sweet, it was beautiful! It was also very homely in that it was not very oily, and it was creamy, but not overly creamy.
Seekh kebab - I have had it in places where they have made it very salty and dry. And after those experiences, I've never considered trying seekh kebab again. Until I came here and my friend and I decided to try it, and it was not overly salty, it was just right. Great quality minced meat with aromatic spices and a generous serving of mint sauce
Garlic naan and cheese naan - this place definitely knows how to make beautiful thin and crisp and flavoursome naans. I am a big fan!
Pista kulfi - it was bright aqua green, and it tasted amazingly fresh and sweet but not too sweet!
I love it how this restaurant makes everything in such a way that it is not overly oily, or salty, or sweet. I am definitely coming back here
Service: Not great. Not great at all. The waiter was clearly trying to do too much at once and forgot to bring out 2 dishes at 2 separate instances. That is the only reason that this place did not get a 5 from me.

• Poor customer Service

• Long Wait

• Serving old food

I was a regular customer. Paradise Biryani Indian Restaurant was good but not anymore.

Since they have party hall at the back of the restaurant, they can’t bring food for the table on time. We have to wait at least an hour for the first item ordered and so on. If you order five items, after an hour wait you will get one of the items and you have to wait another half an hour for next item. For Example if you order for Naan and curry you will get curry and you have to wait for naan for another half an hour.

It happens all the time regardless of crowd. For example they make Biriyani in the afternoon so it is ready for anytime to serve they only have to reheat it and bring it to tables but that takes more than 30 minutes for them to bring it to table, I don’t know why ?????

Bottom line- They don’t have capacity to serve for all the customers in timely manner and don’t know how to treat the customers

Note: Particularly, Please don’t take your kids to this restaurant, kids will lose their patience.

Firstly the menu has definitely undergone a change, the one I had been given had no photos at all. Photos I feel is something every restaurant to strive for as I believe the look and feel of the dish definitely will increase the temptation to buy.

Anyways we ordered two Chicken Biryani's and a Tangdi Kebab starter. Chicken Biryani was one of the best I have had ever since I have come to Sydney. Definitely worth the hype that I had been getting about this from many of my friends. We already made up our mind to come next week to either take away or eat.

Tangdi Kebab was a sore disappointment. The leg piece was tender but somehow the spices weren't fully cooked. I mean to say it still felt like raw paste was applied on top. Not all the pieces were covered properly either. One would expect a uniform leg pieces but instead what we see was one definitely large, two very medium ones, one really thin.

Glancing around on other table I could see that the other table had ordered a fish fry item and it looked like a totally burnt piece and so were tiny chicken drumstick starters that they ordered.

Be wary while ordering starters, order one and only if you are satisfied order other.

Ambiance wise, the place looked pretty neat, well organized with a fantastic mural covering the whole wall which did give a bit of authentic Indian feel.
Shruti Vaidya
If this restaurant hadn't been a walking distance from my home, I wouldn't go here ever. The Biryani is okay(definitely marginally better than the ones at other Indian restaurants) and everything else could definitely be better.
Prathamesh Kumar
The food was good, no issues there. However I've got a bit of an issue with the info provided.
Please remove the "Home Delivery - Available" option if you don't deliver.

About this place I will be short and precise.

This place is nowhere related to Paradise chain in Hyderabad.

I had Chicken Biryani here with some tandoori starters.

For me it was really nice in all aspect because I was getting an above average Indian style NV food in Sydney.

My only turn off is, it's in a bit of higher range. So, VFM isn't completely justified.

Rest all is fine.

Happy Dining!!!
Deepti
The food is awesome, but the service is pathetic. They make you feel they don't need you there. You keep looking or calling for them, and they will not listen to you. the ambience also is a bit dingy. I hope they light it up a little and make the experience of their patrons like their food.
I would like to re-iterate, the food is good!
Jyoti Ranjan
Worst biryani ever..n service is very poor..
They are serving veg pulav in name of veg biryani..😡 they are spoiling the brand name.
Never going to eat der..

The quality of rice is very good and it tastes exactly like the paradise in Hyderabad. Biryani is the best dish they have, also one of the very few places to serve kingfisher along with your chicken 65.
Pmalik810
Stay away...... We have been enjoying the Chicken Dum Biryani by taking a bucket ful every time to share with family and friends. Today they had to spoil it for all of us by giving us stale biryani with chicken pieces that were not fresh and not very pleasant to taste. It all went in the bin as also our fondness for Paradise Biryani.
PremiersCBB
Ok food, though nothing really special.. Arrived with around 10 people and were immediately seated. They soon brought out some Complementary papadums which were well received by the table. Ordering time wasn't too bad. About 45 minutes after ordering we were served. However one plate came out after 20 minutes before the rest which was not great. I ordered the Lamb Korma which I was hoping would be quite spicy. However on arrival it was very sweet, little to no spice despite the waiter ensuring us that It would be spicy. However the meals that my mates got were nicely spiced and tasty. Portions were great, we were very full by the end of the night. Probably won't be back anytime soon, but still nice to try a new place out.
Deb Mukherjee
I thought it was somewhat similar to the Paradise of Hyderabad.
Found that - its nothing special when compared to that.
Average taste and ambiance.
Doing great because there is not enough competition.
If it was located in Paramatta , it could have scaled up more.
The good Part was - it was pocket friendly.

Very Bad Experience!. Chicken Dum Biryani was very dry, most ordinary: nothing 'Paradise'! Accompaniments raita & gravy worse, pretty grose! Paneer masala curry was just complementing the Biryani! Pretty bad experience overall.

Disappointment. Although I love some of the stuff that come out of their kitchen, they have no clue about customer experience and they have committed some cardinal sins which are so unforgivable...

Incident 1: My wife found a piece of chicken in the vegetable biriyani she ordered. And she swore that she will never go back there....cardinal sin 1!!!

Incident 2: Deciding to give them a second chance, I walk in and order my favorite dish. The waiter comes back 5 minutes later to tell me that my food will take 15 minutes. I say that's fine and 10 minutes later he comes back and tells me that it is going to take 30 minutes because the chef is running late. And I ask him why in gods name is the restaurant open when the chef is late. And then the guys have the audacity to justify themselves.. Cardinal sin 2 - Arguing with the customer and that too when they have no grounds..

A total disappointment I must say. I have sworn to myself that I will never go back there again..

This is the vegetarian equivalent of Butter Chicken and it certainly did not disappoint. All three of us love paneer and this was cooked beautifully. The gravy was creamy and delicious without being too sweet.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Of all the Indian/South Indian/ SriLankan places I have tried in Sydney, these people make the closest sambar to Saravana Bhavan.
I might be a bit fussy about my sambar but it has to be perfect. And this place is close to that. I highly recommend this place.

Delsih food, Cheap and very spicey. Wait staff were polite and efficient, food is great and spicy. Mutton Biryani was really delicious as was the pepper chicken. Highly recommended.

Excellent Hyderabadi Biryani. This restaurant serves the most authentic hyderabadi biryani in Sydney. A must visit for all the biryani lovers. We also liked the Butter Paneer masala which was very close to the one served in north India (not very sweet and spicy).

Will be visiting this place again for sure..

More sambhar pls!. Great food and great value. The sambhar was so good we asked for seconds! we tried the chicken biryani and the non-veg thali and loved every bit of it. For those of you who aren't familiar, Hyderabani biryani is really hot and spicy, if you like chilli then DO IT.

My sisters and I visited for lunch. Had butter chicken, chicken manchurian and chicken lollypop rice and naan. The waiter first brought out a jug of water. Jug was dirty and water was warm. Butter chicken was overly sweet, chicken manchurian and chicken lollypop were great. Food serving sizes were great, however the service was really bad! Asked waiter for more serviettes, had to ask twice. Not once did a waiter come up and ask if we needed anything else or if we enjoyed our meals. Bad experience overall. Not the type of restaurant where I'd go out of my to eat at.
