Delicious authentic Japanese food which is also super affordable. We ordered a bunch of sashimi which was fresh and melted in our mouths. We also ordered their ramen which had a rich and creamy broth and nice and chewy noodles. Their staff are polite and very kind.
Great place!! I go here semi-regularly with both friends and family who also enjoyed it. Every time I've been the staff have been lovely and the food has been delicious. I find the prices reasonable and I never leave hungry. I definitely would recommend it!
If you’re peckish for a Japanese dinner in North Sydney, we recommend trying Sakura at 225 Miller. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing, and you’ll fit in whether you’re a solo traveller, couple or business group. We highly recommend trying
Went for dinner with friends! Small place but nice food! My friends ordered curry with rice it looked yummy I would like to try next time. I ordered sashimi with rice.... surprisingly good fresh fish and full of flavour. It’s a self service but staffs are attentive even. Highly recommend
Delicious food, fresh vibrant ingredients, clean, great presentation, generous portion size, quick service and dinner was made quickly. Enjoyed our visit. 5.15pm on a friday night.
They have raised the prices since there are now less options available. The food is average but consistent and there are some good choices on the menu ranging from salads to rice to bentos to sushi.
Nothing to rave over but fine for lunch. Love the little outdoor seating however you may want to think twice due to all the construction noise and dust/pollution around.
Best Japanese place ever! My partner and I go at least once a week. So clean and the service is fast and they're friendly. Prices are reasonable too.
The food was nice but they got the wrong order which was annoying and the place is quite crowded other than that the food is ok. Not a place I would die to go but just casual lunch would be appropriate if I happen to be in north sydney.
Extremely busy for lunch on Friday, had to wait for a table. The staff were running around at breakneck speed, but also very efficient. Waited for about 10mins for a seat, then another 20mins for food (some people around that already ordered before I got seated were still waiting for their meals). My tempura udon tasted quite good, a light broth soup, but good flavour. The tempura was nicely fried. The udon had good texture, but of bounce, but not chewy. A little pricy for $15, not a huge serving, with only 1 prawn in the tempura.
The food was great, service was friendly and fast. Coconut prawns and the sushi rolls were delicious. Lost a star as there was a big group at the back and the noise level was too much for the small area so it made it very hard to communicate. Otherwise a nice place.
