Review Guzman Y Gomez - North Sydney

We picked a team for EOM snacks/lunch, Mexican it was! We ordered online and was able to pick up lunch with less than a 5 min wait. Everyone were happy little mexican jumping beans. Pan Seared Barramundi Burrito Bowl (Mild) $11.50 Sautéed Barramundi in GYG’s Mojo de Ajo marinade with Pico de Gallo.

Had the mini chicken buritto bowl and chips. Chips were stale and dry. Burito bowls are good however the no longer offer complimentary onion, jalapeno and coriander anymore.

dered a mini burrito bowl on 15/2/22 Despite telling the lady at till 3 times that I wanted a mini burrito bowl, I found out that my order was put through as a large and therefore received a large. When I was given the large, I was confused and explained to the lady who served me (and also a supervisor as she called someone else over) that I ordered a mini. They were instantly pretty rude and said that there was absolutely nothing I could do. I explained that I ordered a mini as its what I wanted (plus i also knew i wouldn’t be able to finish a large and didn’t want to waste it). To my surprise, they were both really rude (rolling their eyes etc). Then the supervisor continued to pull a bin near the till and forcefully chuck the meal in the bin right in front of me. As she did this she muttered under her breath something about how i wasted the meal… which doesn’t bloody make sense but each to their own. Also, after this incident I was handed a bag of free corn chips. I assume this happened because perhaps the supervisor realised she messed up and tried to buy me off with a bag of chips. All in all, pretty rude staff.

Took a while to find it as I didn't realise where the location was as part of Eat Street, which has several entrances. I had a mild chicken burrito. Fell apart a bit at the bottom, but was delicious. I'll definitely be back for more now I've found it.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Guzman y Gomez and my recent visit suggests I shouldn’t leave it so long between visits in future. Alas my favourite protein, spicy steak, has been removed from the menu which put me off guard but quickly selected the beef mince nachos. I was impressed that you now have an option in meal size and the small was perfect. It’s good to see all the toppings are still there and I loaded up on Tabasco, coriander and onions. The nachos were delicious, the corn chips remained crispy under the generous topping. It’s nice to see the produce still being freshly made to order and free from many additives. It’s my favourite takeaway at Northpoint

Usually love GYG for a fast dinner but not only did they forget to swap out the cheese as requested (life isn't fun being lactose intolerant) but halfway through I realised the fish was severely undercooked... super disappointed :( Sorry for the unappetizing photo

Average experience. I visited several times and the services and food quality was not consistent. Some days it was good, some days not so much.

Can't believe found a strand of hair in my Cali burrito. This is after they charge me for swapping the cheese for chimi mayo. Disgusting
