4.5. We ordered their sausage roll to takeaway and it was delicious! Crispy tasty pastry, well flavoured meat filling with carrots. A lovely, well balanced sausage roll! My partner also tried their curry pie and chicken schnitzel BLT and found them both tasty. Can't wait to try their other goods. Friendly staff.

Phil’s Bakehouse is your Westgarth non hipster option. It’s refreshingly ordinary in its offerings, layout and style, and it has a loyal and dedicated following. I can see why. We grabbed one of the outdoor tables on High Street and my seat was next to a wheelie bin. No matter at all. Our coffees were good. A perfectly respectable brew and served with a nice word and a lovely smile. They were inexpensive too. You can ask for little more. We like the look of the Greek food on offer here too. It looked mighty good and the price was right again. We’ll be back.
Friendly place. Traditional bakery food, not as fancy as most of the places around here, which is why i like it 👍🏽 (Zomato makes us write 140 characters which is why this bit is here 😐)
Baked fresh every day , best cafe in Westgarth. Understated, peaceful, great food, caters to all inc vegan, delicious old school cakes and great coffee, tea hot chock. Their mocha...the best.
Nothing that will blow your mind here but lots of options and reliably good. New renevations make the space much more welcoming and the staff, as ever, are always chatty and friendly. There are so many other bakeries who are trying to hit the top but these guys are happy simply to remain affordable, reliable, and welcoming.
A very good bakery, everything is made with care and craft. Great bread and sandwiches, in fact the softest white bread I've ever had.
Ive been eating here a long time and they have great foods but the service is not friendly. Its not bad, just not good. They get your orders right but it lacks a bit of charm.
Open early, friendly staff, egg and bacon roll is a lifesaver.
I disagree with C S I go there every single morning before work And the customer service and freshness and taste of the food is amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Keep up the great work!
