Pastries and bread are excellent. The basque cheesecake is the best! Coffee is average.
I totally adore this place - one of the best sausage rolls and fish pies in Melbourne. Buttttt - and this is so annoying coz you need it with a pastry - the coffee is just consistently not good! The soy lates are often curdled, the regular coffee has been served burnt. The batch brew is nice though! Go here for literally anything and it’ll be a delicious time.
With a cool, modern fit out, this cool bakery in Northcote is heaven for pastry lovers. It's only small, and there is limited seating, so they do specialise in take aways; but if you are lucky you can snag a seat. With complementary water, we take a seat and wait for our food and coffees. Service is quick and the staff; though extremely busy, are still really friendly. There is only a small menu here, but what they do make is done exceptionally.
We had a sausage roll which had delicious buttery pastry and a delicious sausage filling. It had plenty of seasoning so that it wasn't bland at all. We also had a bostock pastry... again, layers of delicious puff pastry with a sweet glaze and crunchy flaked almonds. This too was a tasty treat. With it's cool atmosphere and delicious food and coffee, the faithful locals flock here for their pastry needs; which is always a great sign , as that many people can't be wrong.
You could spend hundreds of dollars and every single mouthful would be worth it - everything at All Are Welcome looks delicious! The hardest part is trying to pick what to get.
Most sweet things are around $7 and the breads around $10. But they often sell out quite quickly so best to be early!
Interesting little place. It certainly has that modern funky feel. I visited on probably Melbourne’s last hot day of the first part of the year. The place was certainly buzzing with people inside and out. This was a good first visit. The coffee was very good and any place that has sparkling water on tap gets extra marks in my book. I shall return.
My most visited bakery in Melbourne. I keep going back. Their pastries are perfect and bread is so damn good. Had a Medovik (10 layer cake) and that was delicious too. Lovely staff too
Amazing Loafs!!! The Rosemary, Olive and Lemon and the Blue Cheese and Caramelized Onion Bougasse were quite literally some of the best breads I have ever had! Highly recommended taking a Sourdough home for snacks! The butter is also delicious, and there was quite a selection of Coffee Paraphernalia.
Amazing spot for good coffee and overall baked goods. We had the twice baked poppyseed croissant, which was delicious, along with the rhubarb danish, again fantastic.
The plain croissant on the other hand was surprisingly very dry and rather hard. Not entirely sure if it's normally like this, or it was just a bad day, but we were rather surprised that the simple croissant was so terrible compared to all the other great treats they had.
Nevertheless would definitely go again. Lovely spot.

Kouign Amann was crisp and aromatic! Pain au chocolat was good but and super flaky we prefer more buttery texture. Overall nice!
Delicious bread and delicious coffee. What more could you want? There’s a reason this place is always busy. Their soy flat whites are always perfectly hot and prepared quickly. And that rye bread with caraway seeds is to die for.
