The portion was correct. The Lamb was succulent and not dry at all and was not oily or fatty. The chips was definitely the right type, steakhouse chips. It was right for those who want to be healthy. The pita bread and salad was amazing to accompany the amazing lamb and chips.

BEST GREEK FOOD IN MELBOURNE!! fantastic service right as you enter the restaurant, every meal that I’ve had from there is extraordinary and true to Greek traditional recipes. Stunning restaurant layout and did I mention the food proportions but you won’t be leaving there hungry.

The quality, taste and portion size of the food is excellent. Since discovering it I’ve been here several times. And enjoyed dining in as well as takeaway. The octopus souvlakia is a must try!!!!

I was over at a friend's and as one of them wanted to grab a souvlaki from Euro Bites, which he raves about, I decided that I wanted to try one too and off went the boys to get some dinner.

My friend's default order is the chicken souvlaki wrap, which he proclaims as tender, juicy and absolutely tasty. What he loved most was the thick chunks of succulent chicken pieces generously scattered within a slice of soft and fluffy pita bread.

The friendly lady recommended that we tried the pork souvlaki, and this was another beauty. The pork was meaty and moist, albeit a stray chunk or two being slightly tougher than the rest.

The wrap was smothered in delicious sauce, and also stuffed to the brim with lettuce, tomatoes and the likes.

Couldn't fault the chips sprinkled with oregano, and while some justifiably got a bit cold on the car ride home, most were still warm and crisped around the edges.

A delicious and affordable meal, that was incredibly filling to boot.

4 of us visited for first time yesterday Saturday evening - 6 pm session.  It is a busy session.
Modern, fresh clean look to the place.  We quickly settled on banquet #2 to try a bit of everything.
Establishment estimate (approx) of $80 per couple.

We added drinks (1 bottle house white, 4 beers, 5 soft drinks).
All banquet parts were good - lamb cutlets a bit dry, chicken perfect.  Dips were OK.
Service was good despite busy time.

All up spent $150 per couple - total $300.

What a an amazing gem in the heart of oakleigh.
The chef is amazingly accomodating to dietary needs. Being a coeliac it is imperative to take care and provide options that tantalise the tastebuds
I will definitely be back to dine here again.

Delicious Greek food and friendly service. There are two sittings on Saturday night, we did the 6.00pm sitting which was packed! A fairly small restaurant with an open kitchen, stools at the bar and exposed brick decor. There’s a good range of mezze, we ordered cheese balls with fig jam (completely delicious) pickled octopus, 3 dips-tarama, spicy feta and eggplant (good house made quality), lightly fried zucchini slices on a bed of skordalia (delicious!!), saganaki (make sure you say cheese saganaki because we got the sausage saganaki in error but both were tasty) and for mains we got two platters to share, one lamb gyros which was beautifully cooked, so succulent. It came with tasty lemon potatoes, Greek salad and pitta bread. The seafood platter came with big, juicy prawns, tender lightly battered calamari, octopus, tender fish, and mussels (in a weird tasting sauce that tasted a bit like laksa). I think the pitta bread serves need to be bigger because we had to keep ordering more to mop up our delicious dips. But overall I thought the food was top quality, freshly cooked and speedily served with very friendly and attentive service from our waiter and waitress.

I love my souvlaki so I’m quite particular when it comes to souvas. I have to say Euro Bites has one of the best Lamb Souvlaki in Melbourne. The meat is cut into a rather large chunk, it’s thick and juicy just how I like it. The pitas are nicely toasted. They don’t skimp on the tzatziki too. I usually had my souvas open, not closed/wrapped. The other dishes are just as good. I had the saganaki and moussaka, and tried their other dips as well, all are of a high standard. Service are generally good, of course just like any other restaurant there are some days where you don’t get as good service, but still acceptable.

I have been obsessed with Greek food and couldn’t wait for an excuse to try Euro Bites. I was not disappointed. There’s heaps of variety on the menu, and plenty of vegetarian options too. We dined on a Friday night so I was a bit worried it might be busy but luckily there were a few tables.

We ordered the fried calamari and hummus dip to start. The fried calamari was a knock out, beautifully battered, not too heavy or light and the calamari was cooked to perfection. One of the better fried calamari I’ve had in a while. To share we had the chicken gyros platter which has the option of chips or rice (I normally go for chips but the rice was softly cooked - not mushy, and went well with the chicken), Greek salad, more bread and tzatziki dip. The chicken was tender but slightly salty. Safe to say I will be going back and trying out more of what Euro Bites has to offer.
