We found this little cafe by accident and we are so glad that we did. Keith had the scones and I had smoked salmon quiche, they were absolutely delicious and made fresh that morning, my pot of tea was made to my liking and I managed to get two cups out of it and there was still some left in the pot and kept nice and warm with a tea cozy and Keith had a large mug of coffee. The lady who owns the cafe was extremely pleasant and the cafe itself was nice and cosy and just the type of place that we love to visit so we will definately be paying another visit before we leave this beautiful island.
The best toasted sandwich ever !! My dear old Dad had a delicious home made chicken pie and we had yummy carrot cake to finish off - beautiful fresh home made food to die for and amazing coffee and hot chocolate too Jen is awesome so friendly and fun - loved our lunch and jars of jam purchased Thanks Jen we will back to see you for sure
What a marvellous little hidden gem! A perfect place to stop for lunch on the way to or from Hobart. The delightful ladies behind the counter were so helpful and they made such a delicious meal for us. So nice to use a proper teapot and tea cup! Great selection of drinks and cakes. I had the Ploughman's Lunch and it was splendid. So much tasty cheese, ham and lovely relish all on nice warm bread. The quiche was so good too. I had quiche Lorraine and my friend had the vegetarian version. The pastry was so flaky and absolutely fantastic! Will definitely stop here again!
What a lovely little place. We had a delicious ploughmans lunch made and served to us by the very nice owner who put a smile on our tired and grumpy daughters face.
Great food, coffee and exceptionally friendly service. Well worth the visit when travelling past.
A delightful little cafe with great personable service. Felt like being in your best friend's kitchen. Gorgeous selection of teas, sweets and savory meals. So glad we stopped by for a visit. Will come again. Worth making a trip out of town for.
Jenny opened her lovely cafe especially to cater for a hungry bunch of visiting dancers! The food was fantastic and service warm and friendly on what was a cold and wet day in Oatlands. Thank you Jenny.... we can't thank you enough!( PS The Salmon Quiche was to die for!)
Wonderful cafe/restaurant in the heart of beautiful Oatlands, with a lovely, friendly, feisty hen to make you feel at home. Everything is homemade and delicious, from cakes and biscuits to meats, cheeses, quiche, pork pies and salad.
We had such a relaxing, scrumptious meal here - Jenny is a real gem, & we will be back - your generous warm spirit makes the experience.
Great service and good food. Ploughman's Lunch with a Chocolate Milkshake was a great choice. My son loved the toastie.
