The restaurant gives off a nice friendly and homely vibe. I stopped by for a late lunch and I'm glad I did.
The staff were very accommodating and their menu offered a few gluten free options, not a lot but mind you it is a small menu.
I admit I got a bit excited and forgot to take photos (sorry!!) but it was all delicious!
The coffee is delish, I am a sucker for a good coffee and I'm pleased to say I was not dissapointed.
Main: Pork belly
This dish reminds me of the Sunday roast I use to have with the family, served with pan fried potatoes (safe for coeliacs) the meat was not too dry and very tender. For your reference - no it does not have pork crackling but the skin is nicely caramelised and not chewy.
Main: Soup of the day (Thai curry pumpkin)
Perfect for a cold day, the subtle flavours of the soup with the toppings (seeds). It was not over powering and not very spicy
Dessert: Coffee and Hazelnut
Loved it, it's gluten free and delicious it is a must oder in my books
Dessert: Chocolate and almond tort
If you like rich chocolate then this is for you, personally I'm not a fan of chocolate desserts (I know right blasphemy) but the serve of cream helped cut the richness of the cake.
Overall - I will be back maybe on a warmer day so I can sit outside and enjoy the view
Came here today for brunch . We had coffee ( oh my husband says coffee is great ) , tea , pot pie and coffee cake . The pot pie is delicious, highly recommends the cake. Friendly service, better book a table before you drop by as it was fully book by the time we left .
Wow! What a surprise. Very friendly staff and they made place for us even though they were fully booked.

Brought family here from interstate and couldn't of been more pleased. Lunch was perfect' couldn't fault it. Pork belly was the best ever, delicious desserts topped of with an amazing view of the gardens. Highly recommend!
Amazing view. We went in Autumn and the changing colour of the trees was beautiful. Quite pricey. Small selection of cakes but nice. The highlight for me was the view!
Fantastic restaurant! The view was beautiful, looking out onto the gardens. The food was phenomenal -the pork belly dish in particular- served with potatoes and a delicious slaw and apple based sauce. The salad was also delicious, with pulled pork being the highlight. Highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet, relaxed lunch or afternoon tea (tea and scones are on the menu).
The view and the gardens were spectacular. The food was ordinary - not bad. We had the pork belly which was quite dry and very salty and the seafood pie. The seafood was chopped up (looked minced) quite finely in lots of creamy sauce not the chunky pieces of rockling, prawns and scallops....
Never knew this lovely restaurant set in this well stocked nursery was there in the hills. We rolled up this week for lunch and we all loved the food, not overly sauced, well presented, tasty dishes and all cooked to perfection! Will go again.
I am not really into the food but the 4 out of 5 I gave here is because of the view. You are not in a normal restaurant to have the meal but in a painting! Strongly recommend to make a booking for the seat closed to the window and then enjoy your high tea time!
But they charge $ if you want to walk in that nice garden.
You cannot complain about the view!!! Just stunning. The ploughmans platter was delicious. A random combination of flavours but all tasty. The baked cheesecake was Devine and I like my lemon tart with a bit more zing but it was still creamy.

Amazing scenery, so picturesque. Look forward to walking around the gardens next visit. Amazing coffee! Service was great, very obliging, and food was fabulous! Looking forward to heading back there again. Highly recommend. Thank you .
A small quaint cafe located next to the garden.
We arrived at 4pm, and had coffee and cakes.
The service was great and if you are lucky you sit next to the window overlooking the garden.
After visiting the garden. Stopped for lunch. It was Monday weekday but still quite lots of visitors than expected. Maybe because still school holiday.
The waitress who served the table was friendly and polite. She explained today’s special.
I had tomato& basil tart with garden salad. It’s nice flavour. But I need double size for my hungry tummy.
Desert , I had almond date chocolate cake. Top chocolate icing dominated all flavour, I couldn’t taste date, but there were lots of almond.
The view from the outdoor table was lovely, I enjoyed listening birds while having my lunch!
Lovely views. Ensure a windows seat if possible.

Lovely quaint little restaurant. Quite busy, but stuff cope well. Food was great, good sized portions..I had the brisket burger and chips delicious.. The atmosphere is very noisy. The open kitchen certainly doesn't help. Hard to hear across the table
