A great place to order off uber eats if you’re looking a great souvlaki. Thanks so much Jimmy Grants for providing some of the best lamb souvlakia I’ve ever tasted ❤️❤️❤️
Good ambience with great food. One of my favourite places for Souvlakis. It’s definitely a go!! And since they’ve added Yo-chi. It’s only been icing on the cake!
Edit: They seem to have made their souvlakis larger which is excellent to see. This is a great place to eat again. Thanks for listening to your customers :)
I would give this place 2.5 stars if I could. The staff are nice, the place is clean, and the food is consistent. My only issue is the price. Paying over $17 for a "large" souvlaki which is almost the same size as the smaller one isn't good value in the slightest. If it was actually large and filled you up I wouldn't mind, but you leave feeling hungry. I've been there a dozen times but find it hard to justify coming back.
Make them bigger and my review will change to 4 stars.
The dishes were delicious comfort food that reminded me of having a gyros after a night out in Mykonos. Take a moment to read the true background of Jimmy Grants to the right of the front door as you walk in; a testament to the food and culture in Australia.
This location is nice and bigger than the one in Fitzroy I think. Numerous tables so you can sit and enjoy. All souvas are absolutely delicious and that pita bread is heavenly: thick, soft and fluffy. I could eat it all day. If you want something to go with, the grain salad is yummy.
The Americano souva is a thing of beauty. Beef short rib, with pickles - an absolute delight to eat. The beef was soft and sumptuous. Prior to this experience The Dear Luncher though Jimmy's was just OK - but this particular souva really impressed. This souva is scientifically proven to cure a monster hangover. Also in the past, the chips with the feta on top have not impressed. The opinion Your Dear Luncher now has about Jimmy's has changed. All thanks to the Americano.
With quite a lot of hesitation, we dropped in on a Saturday night, after circling in Carnegie without finding a park. To our surprise, everyone enjoyed the meal unanimously. We had: Nona Maria, eat like a Greek & the Kalamata Kid which was discounted as we ordered from 'plates'. Meat was tender, pita was well cooked, loved the Greek salad, feta chips & dip accompaniments.
I came here on Saturday night and it was the most busiest restaurant in the area. I love their lamb shoulder and grain salad. Friendly staff and cute interior.
Love the food here . Service is fast , bar options good . Recommend the eat like a greek which gives you the selection of slow cooked meat , salad , dip and fresh pita . The salads are to die for so hard to choose

Please warn me if your sauces contain horseradish! I think it's in there - that tangy sensation similar to wasabi, which I dislike.
Otherwise the bread is nice, and meats are alright. Lots of seats/space inside, good to bring friends.
Maybe add more menu items?
Got takeaway and was surprised by how good the food was. The chips were crispy and the feta on top went so well. The lamb was soft and tender and I enjoyed the whole meal. I guess the only downside is how expensive it was. It's fine for a rare treat but when you can get cheaper souvlaki and chips that taste great too it's not my first option.
Amazing Food. Eat like a greek is amazing. Favorite fast meal.
I have eaten at this Jimmy Grants many times and I have enjoyed my food each visit. The quality of ingredients are very good and this is reflected in the tastiness of the dishes.
Yesterday when I visited I was greeted by a very friendly male employee. It is nice to see people take the time to be friendly to customers.
Lamb was amazingly tender. Chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. Chips were sprinkled with oregano & feta, really nice. Loukomades were superb. All tasted great. Only feedback is 'meal for two' needs 2 pita breads.
Friendly staff and food is almost always amazing. Have had some lamb that’s tough a few times.
