Absolutely fantastic food, served by people who obviously care about their product. Beautiful coffee, nice atmosphere that never feels too cramped, even when absolutely packed.

Vanilla Bean and Lime Cafe is a usual for me and I've never once had a bad experience. After returning today I wanted to make a review on the place. The staff are always friendly and provide excellent service. The food comes out fast and tastes fresh for the most part.
Be sure to try the chicken schnitzel sandwich and strawberry thickshake if you stop by!

I've only been here once before but my memory of the place was that the food was alright, so when I found myself in the area again, I came here to try it again. Last time I was here, I ordered the big breakfast, and I thought about trying something different this time..but I was really hungry.
With the big breakfast, you can choose to have the two eggs done your way, which is great as it gives you options, in case you preferred one way or don't like a particular way. It also comes with four triangles of toast as opposed to two in most other cafes, and it's very filling.
Although I liked the breakfast, it wasn't anything amazing or special, and I think it was a little on the greasy side (the sausage was particularly greasy, as was the mushrooms), and afterwards, I did feel a bit heavy, and I drank a lot of water to try and ease the heavy, greasy feeling. But my friend who ordered the same as me didn't say anything about feeling greasy, so perhaps it's personal preference.
I also had a peppermint tea, which really helped cut the greasy feeling too. My friend had a latte, and mentioned to me that the latte was quite good and very smooth.
Overall, I like the place, it's humble and honest cafe food, without being a bit pretentious like some cafes these days.. It's also quite cheap, the big breakfast itself was only $17.50, and our total bill was $43, with two breakfasts and two drinks.
TIP: if you're like me and you like your eggs done two different ways, but you don't want to annoy the chef by doing one egg one way and one egg another way, and your friend happens to order the same dish and also wants the two eggs both done differently, one of you can get your eggs done one way, and the other person gets their eggs done a different way and then when your food comes, just share the eggs so you can both have two eggs done two different ways.
Being a local, I go to vanilla bean all the time. The food is simple and delicious. The service is always very pleasant and fast. The coffee is always good because the barista is always the same :)

I came here at close to Midday so the lovely girl advised me if I was still eating breakfast? I ended up having coffee and volcano. The latte was made to perfection and the chocolate volcano was melting in my mouth. I loved the coffee as it had a smooth flavour. The service was friendly and welcoming. The cafe interiors is casual and laidback. There is music playing in the background which was relaxing. The menu had many options for breakfast and lunch. What a shame I was not hungry so will have come back again.
First Review. After a handful of visits to this convenient little cafe opposite Padstow station, I decided to give my 2 cents about the place. There are a lot of options on the menu and specials on regularly, my go to however would be the chicken schnitzel burger with potato wedges, a very filling, high quality lunch at a very reasonable price. The staff are quite bubbly and friendly but the coffee is a bit of hit and miss. I will return as I live in Padstow and a quick lunch fix or a weekend breakfast from here is the most convenient option for me.
The breakfast menu for adults was comprehensive to say the least - 18 choices in total. You can have anything from toast to muesli to pancakes right through to some very tasty savoury items. I ordered a 3 egg omelette with ham, cheese and tomato ($13.50). The omelette was huge and wholesome.

We both ordered the Farmer's omelette which was delicious and filling. Definitely recommend. Staff were friendly, prices affordable and coffee was perfect. Not our first time there and definitely not the last!
This is a local fave in Padstow. Consistent is the word. Great Campos coffee and food. Everything here is super yum and fresh. I often get the acai bowl and veg breakfast. Staff are good and service is quick and efficient. There is parking at the back near Padstow Park Hotel and Liquorland or at the double storey carpark across the road. They also do a great takeaway. I like that the turnaround is quick and you're never waiting long for a table or for coffee nor food. I just wish they do cold press fresh juice.

Absolutely love this cafe, one of my favourites to go to! Great value for money. I usually don't like scrambled eggs at a cafe, but they do them well. Definitely recommend.
This place is my all time favourite cafe!! The prices are reasonable are relatively cheap but recently have been more expensive due to covid. But the food is amazingly delicious and have never once in my experience had a bad one. The food to a standard is well presented and delicious but nothing too fancy just your average home like food!
We've been coming here for years. Foods great. But I'd wish they'd update menu, so we don't come that often as we use too.
