Got a deal in the first table experience with this restaurant and my partner and I would like to give it a go. We arrived early so not too crowded though it’s a Saturday night. We were greeted by friendly staffs and we got seated in a quieter table that we preferred. We both were not very fond of whiskey so we ordered a red wine and a cocktail. They’re good. I enjoyed my Jalisco Peach cocktail very much. We ordered Scotch egg and salt and pepper calamari to share. For our main, we both had the Scotch filet. The Scotch egg was yummy and the calamari was so soft and juicy, delicious. Our steak was cooked to perfection, spot on! We did enjoyed our dinner here! Recommend!
Incredible place. Every time I go I forget how much I love it. The vibe is so relaxed & the decor is filled with character. The staff are professional & friendly, and the service is very personal and prompt. The live blues music was fitting and not too loud / over whelming which you can otherwise find at bars which have live music. It was perfect for the vibe. The food is hands down some of the best bar nibbles on the GC. The calamari is house hand breaded and it was the freshest I’ve ever had, along with the delicious chips. The drinks are so authentic and are different from other bars on the GC. They’re crafted & made with so much pride. The ONLY suggestion I would have from my whole experience is for the lemon oil greens to have some garlic or chilli or another accompaniment, but that is my only “negative” thought. Other than that, 5/5 stars everytime. Will be back & will be recommending to everyone.
The Scottish Prince was a surprising experience. Such an amazing find, as soon as you walk in the bar greets you with an awesome selection of Whisky from Europe, Australia and Scotland (also Rums and Gins). The menu was short but had something for everyone (veg, vegan, seafood, steak, spring rolls - but all with a Scottish style twist) and everything delicious! Highly recommend.
