Review Panania Chinese Restaurant - Panania

Came here for dinner with a group of 5 friends with a Chinese background. It is a good local restaurant with genuine cantonese chef. The menu is slightly catered for caucasians, however some of the typical Chinese flavours are there as well. We tried the honey chicken, sweet and sauce pork, stir friend veggies with ginger sauce, Singapore noodles and stir fried beef noodles. The noodles were cooked well, with wok hey. The flavour of the chicken was well balanced, however the texture was a bit too soft and the pork lacked a bit of crisp and colour. However the vegetables though, were on point. Not the cheapest restaurant around, but reasonable quality for the suburbs (can't compare to seafood restaurants), friendly service and didn't have to wait too long. Nice to have something local that we can go back to. Worth a visit.

Really disappointed😔 read the review & most of them were 4 stars we thought we would give it a go. We order satay chicken, fillet beef with black pepper & fried Rice everything was blan no flavor at all 3/4 went straight in the bin 😡

The food was really tasty - I especially liked the char siu BBQ pork.

Awesome food and service one of the best if not the best Chinese restaurants in the area

i had never been there before. I ordered on the phone and was surprised when she said it will be ready in 10 minutes. I live close and left right away arriving at the restaurant in about 5 minutes. To my surprise my order was already waiting in a plastic container. I always have waited 15-30 minutes at other restaurants. Anyhow, it looked to be flooded in sauce but tasted OK to begin with, I was very hungry. But I soon got overwhelmed by the thick gluggy sauce - too much corn starch in it. Also the veges were not very good., mini corns were brown not yellow and I could see no sliced onion, Some chicken was very good but some was rubbery and I could not eat it. Only ate about a quarter of the meal - the heavy sauce spoilt it. When you buy from a restaurant you expect freshly cooked meals. You only have to look at how quick it was ready to realise it was pre-cooked. If you want pre-cooked meals you can get them at Woolworths for less than half of the price. Needless to say, I won't be back there.

The Chinese here is likely the best in the surrounding Revesby, Panania, Padstow, Picnic Point area. The food is clean and fresh, you don't feel that regret after eating Chinese it like you do some other meals. Hoping it stays this way.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the state.the food is to die for and well priced as well.i strongly recommend that you try the menu.1-11-2021 nothing has changed this restaurant does only one thing puts out the very best feed you can ask for well done.
