Dined here for a special occasion and I was not disappointed. The food came out relatively fast considering how busy it was and the staff were friendly.
Wagyu bruschetta 3 ⭐️: nothing particularly amazing about this dish but it was refreshing. It lacked a lot of flavour so we had to salt and pepper it. I thought there would be 2 servings but there was only one to share.
Garlic prawns 4 ⭐️: had so so so much flavour! Highly recommend.
Tomahawk 4 ⭐️: was delicious and huge! You could even share it between 3 people. Perfectly tender and fatty in the right places. We decided to eat with mushroom sauce and black garlic butter. The mushroom was slightly sweet.
Mash 4 ⭐️: can’t go wrong with mash!! So creamy. We swapped out the chips as a side for mash.
Mac and cheese 2.5 ⭐️: nothing special about this but was not worth $15. We just wanted to try it.
Always wonderful. Steak perfectly cooked to your choice. Extensive selection on the menu from entrees to mains and sides as well as sauces. Wonderful venue in the centre of Parramatta.
I had the most amazing dinner on Wednesday night with my friends at this amazing place. The ambience is awesome and the food is fantastic.
Amazing and inspiring theme and menu with innovative style of service.
The staff was super polite and very welcoming making us feel very comfortable.
We had a blast of fun while enjoying our food and drinks. The skewers were fantastic and the lamb shank was amazing. The rib eye was juicy and moist and the brulee was nice and perfectly caramelized.
Overall perfect place to hangout.
Food and service never disappoints here although the staff were a little too over attentive at times. The beef and pork ribs were both super juicy, and the lamb was tender and flavourful. The lighting was quote dark so it was hard to see what I was eating at times but the food was spot on.
Love the food and atmosphere. Steak fillet was amazing. Wife ordered the burger had a taste it was succulent. I definitely recommend. Prices aren’t so bad.
If you are in the Parramatta area and you are a meat lover make sure you swing by The Meat & Wine Co. Their wine list is impressive and I love their paddock to plate philosophy. They only serve premium cuts like the ‘Monte’ . But it’s not only meat, their seafood was darn good too! #meatlover #meatporn
I dined here for a late Valentine’s Day dinner with my partner during the weekend and the experience was exceptional.
We were greeted by staff at entry, and served and taken care of by a really sweet waitress (I totally forgot her name but she was super sweet!).
To begin with, we ordered the wagyu tartare and octopus for entrée. The tartare is a must try, one of the best ones I’ve tried! The octopus was beautiful, warm and subtle in flavour but perfect for a starter - I love the hint of zestiness from the fresh squeeze of lemon!
As for the mains, I ordered the wagyu rump (MB 6+) with mushroom sauce and had it cooked medium. Oh man, if only I had more stomach space I would’ve finished the whole steak alone! It was so juicy and tender, and it would melt in my mouth. It was so easy to slice unlike other steak places where I’d have to saw the steak just to cut it. Overall, it was absolutely beautiful and I’d definitely order it again.
And to finish off, I had the raspberry apple pie. I usually like sweet desserts to finish off a big meal but felt like venturing towards something more on the tart side. Low key regret it because it was a little sour for my liking, so I think I’ll order the crème brûlée for next time!
A highly anticipated steakhouse with excellent service. To start the night off my partner and I were highly pleased with the rich truffle oil on the garlic bread as starter. Moving onto the wagyu tartare, this dish was unique in texture and flavor as a cold dish. The winning dish of the night was the wagyu rib eye. Not only was the meat lean and soft , it was incredibly marbled and melted with each bite. For dessert, we tried the creme brûlée and their liquid dessert which perfectly ended the night. I highly recommend Meat & Wine Co for a once in a life time experience.
Had the pleasure of wining & dining at the recently opened The Meat & Wine Co. Parramatta.
We started with a Raw feed to share:
🥩Wagyu Tartare: Finely chopped Wagyu with smoked yolk and tangy green dressing.
🐙 Octopus: Shaved Octopus with chives, peri peri and lemon.
🍣 Salmon: Whisky cured Salmon with cauliflower custard cream and fresh roe... All three of these dishes were a light and refreshing start to a three course meal ahead. I would highly recommend the shaved octopus it’s unlike anything I’ve ever tried, thinly sliced and seasoned well, light and airy.
For entrée I had the Pork Belly, which was chilli lime basted pork belly with kimchi crumb, puffed crackling and served with greens, adzuki beans and ponzu dressing.
Main I opted for the Rib Eye (pictured) is a beef steak from the rib section. The rib eye steak's internal fat melting into the meat creates one of the juiciest steak eating experiences imaginable.
And dessert Apple Pie: fried apple pastry with apple toffee cream, sour apple gel, mascarpone icecream and smoked maple syrup... If you’re an apple pie lover, (yes that includes Maccas apple pie) then you’re going to love this. It may not be the most photogenic of the lot, but damn this apple pie is whack! Crisp on the outside, soft apple centre and drizzled with maple oooh it’s a dream.
Have been here a couple of times in the last month with colleague. Good hearty meal and steak to die for. The 200g rib eye us what I usually order with chips and salad. Can't go wrong with a good piece of steak. The entree platter is nice also with haloumi and pork belly. Quality is always good and reliable.
