I have gone here 3 weeks in a row for Korean fried chicken (it lunch only on weekends) and had great freshly made Korean fried chicken. My friend had eat a bunch of there pub food which is also great. Only issue is lack of drink choices none alcoholic and alcoholic

My seafood stir fry was okay, the vegetables were nice and not overcooked and it's lovely that it included mussels...but the fish had a horrible spongy texture that was very offputting. The service was amazingly fast, though and the restaurant decor is attractive and whimsical. I would return and try the chicken next time.

Love the decor of this place. The colours are great and the lighting gives it a cool vibe. It has a street food type feel about it, with corrugated iron and faux travel signs. The menu is pan-Asian fusion, but they have pub classics like steak and schnitzel too. You can get snacks from the restaurant to eat in the main bar area, or you can sit down in the restaurant for table service. The chicken wings seemed popular as a bar snack. We had the bao, the dim sum, the chicken skewers and the Pad Thai. All were delicious. The dim sum were surprisingly good; soft and tasty. I would bet they make then on-site. The bao buns were perfect and the pork belly was tasty with a bit of crunch. The Pad Thai was sweet and salty. Those who like a western style Pad Thai will appreciate this dish. Overall, a great experience. Good for groups and not expensive. They do a weekday lunch special too. You can also get some fancy cocktails here, if you're into that kind of thing.

The ginger tiger has always been good. No one was happier than me when I saw them on uber eats. I came here for dinner one day and was surprised they now have ICG! Nothing like korean fried chicken!! Amazing mix! I have been there a couple more times now! Definitely good food and reasonable prices

This place is hidden inside the Collectors Hotel, so it might be hard to find for first timers. Great food here and the Red Duck Curry is awesome. The menu, however, is too small. The price is reasonably inexpensive. The ventilation could be improved as well.

This Restaurant is a new hidden gem in Parramatta. Located inside The Collector Hotel, they have large dining area with pretty cool vibe. Had family lunch there and tried several of their dishes. My favourite are the crispy rice salad and Penang curry. Authentic and delicious!

Went there for a team lunch during work. Luckily we got there early (12:05pm), because as soon as my team started ordering there was a very long line behind us. Food options were good because some people don't eat Thai food they had western menu like steak and calamari and chips. Food came out very quickly for us. The place packed out very quickly during this rush-hour. The atmosphere was loud but joyous. The design of the place is very spacious so can cater for groups. I ordered pad kee mao seafood. Could really taste the wok, seafood ingredients were generous. The satay chicken was a little bit on the dry end tho. Overall pricing was decent, worth the money

Food tasty food, friendly efficient service, set in a pub but very comfortable and funky decorated area. All the pub drink options, tea coffee too, friendly bar staff too. We had the crispy chicken and beef massaman, both beautiful. Recommended and we'll be back.

We often visit this place for their lunch special $10 pho beef noodles with coconut drinks. It was a really good bargain considering the average cost of food in Parramatta CBD is around $12-$15 at a dine-in restaurant.
The pho beef noodles were mediocre but I wouldn't mind for $10 with a drink. Portion was slightly smaller than other pho restaurants but at least you wouldn't be overly bloated after.
They also serve a variety of Thai rice and noodle stir-fry which are not too bad and are great value for money during lunch specials. I had the chicken red curry with rice, they were okay if you don't compare them to the top Thai restaurants in Sydney. Service is okay too.
Don't mind coming back again and again for an affordable lunch!

Food here was pretty good and so was the service.
The food came out relatively quickly which was good.
Located within the Collector, so is quite easy to get to via public transport and walking.
Nice place to go for lunch during the week.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Pub Thai is pretty synonymous with being Australian these days - it used to be pub Chinese when I was a kid. The Taste Food Tours Taste of Australia Tour ($145/person) inducts tourists into this tradition at The Ginger Tiger. Located inside the Collector Hotel, The Ginger Tiger is owned in partnership by restaurateur Tona Inthavong, who blew me away with his Laotian cuisine at the defunct Green Peppercorn in the Civic Hotel. Pub meals in Parramatta are of course a different proposition to Tona’s successful Fairfield and Blacktown iterations of the Green Peppercorn. So you can expect to find a slightly more conservative menu, ranging across a variety of Southeast Asian cuisines, though Thai is definitely dominant. With colourful street art murals, hanging oilpaper umbrellas, and corrugated iron covered in vintage posters, the six-month-old space loosely summons Thai street markets. The recently refurbished hotel has a dedicated bar protruding into the large restaurant area.We pick up a double Johnny Walker Black and Dry ($18) and an even better Taiwanese Kavalan Whisky and Dry ($20) double to accompany what I’m hoping will be a punchy, spicy meal. Conservative ordering and a kitchen having an off day meant my meal today didn’t...

Australia is a great melting pot of cultures. The Taste Food Tour, Rivercat Tourist edition is a great way to get way to get a taste of many culture within one. This is part 4 of the tour. . As part of the Taste Food Tours, I had experienced a lovely rivercat boat ride along with some treats on the way. This is part 4 of my experience. This tour is great for tourists that are looking to experience the mix of cultures in Australia. For those who do not know, Taste Food Tours is a charity organisation that looks to spread the word of cultural diversity through food tours that employ refugees or those who come from a diverse background.

What a great new addition to Parramatta! This Asian fusion restaurant (The Ginger Tiger) has just opened in May 2017 and is located inside the newly re-furbished Collector Hotel. With a wide variety of Southeast Asian dishes and signature drinks, this vibrant restaurant really excites me!. They have a spacious dining area which includes indoor and outdoor seating. With painted wall murals this amazing, I can imagine how cool it would be to have a party or function there.

Nice place to go after work to socialise. The food is your typical pub fare, nothing special. Good if you have a large group but it can get quite loud so not the best place if you want to have a conversation where you want to hear the other person.

We have been here for a few office lunches. The place is good for lunch and few drinks. There is some nice outdoor sitting and service is generally quick.

The noodle dishes are usually solid, as is the massaman curry.

Lunch At The Collector. Enjoyed lunch at the Collector with a group from work. Standard pub food fare. An enjoyable place for a work gathering.
Food Affair
New owners. And our work organized a small farewell for a heavily due mother to be. We booked for two separate lunches. And emailed them the meals for the certain times. First lunch including myself went and advised who we where and paid for our pre ordered lunch which the cashier apparently said she had marking the food off. (some of my team members didn't pre order) which wasn't a big concern. After sitting down and 15 minutes later the girls who didn't pre order there meals getting them before the pre orders was a bit concerning. We still waited and after 35 min I was concerned. I went to the counter and asked and apparently there was NO email sent. I was highly ANGER & this point and said my co worker sent it too you and CC'd me in. I said regardless if you didn't get it. What did you charge us when we all said our order and paid for it?? After a bit of a argument I called the girls over and we found out our food was made but sitting on the side of there kitchen cold. Angry I asked for it re heated. After it being apparently reheated and a few bites. The waitress and the cashier. Did come up to me ( bit of a hot head when it comes to food :) ) and my table and apologized prefusly and asked how can they make it better for us? Previously they did get the bartender to ask if we wanted free drinks. Which we kindly turned down. We did say it was okay. And reassured them that just to please make sure the next group are served better as they are aware we are on our lunch breaks. They smiled and said we can do that for you. They also did give my team members and I. 2 free meals for each of us. Which was a nice gesture. But I would use them and never go back there. I can't say the food was great. But the services was highly rushed and only where sympathetic because of the fuss I made.
