This place is seriously so humble and I felt like home when dining here. All the size portions of the dishes were VERY generous and all of the food taste so authentic and homey. The prices are fairly reasonably priced for the portion you received. Ingredients were fairly fresh and not stingy at all. Everything was great, would come again to dine!
대가 !! Great pork belly bbq..has a variety of meats to choose from. We got the pork belly x2 , beef japchae, chicken bulgogi, spicy pork bibimbap. All the food was great! Prices were worth the meal you were getting. Super friendly staff helped with bbq/serving. All rounder it was a pretty good experience 대박!!
As a student price is always something to consider when you want a bite to eat with your friends. This place has amazing service, delicious side dishes and most importantly a large range of delicious main dishes. If you don't want to have KBBQ they have a variety of noodles, bibimbap, other dishes to eat with rice. Highly recommend their kimchi pancake, with a large portion and perfect seasoning for an affordable price! Over all great service, delicious food, large portions and low price compared to other places in Strathfield or the CBD.
It is difficult to find Korean restaurants here in Western Sydney as the closest good Korean restaurant apparently is in Strathfield. Finding this shop was a treat as it is relatively closer to where I live. I visited this place twice now, had lunch there a while ago, and this is a good shop to visit when I am having Korean cravings and I do not want to go far. Service staff greets customers with a loud hello upon entering the shop and were quick to point out which table their customers can sit. There is a call button to push to get the attention of the staff and they were quick to serve and pleasant. Food served were of quality and prices were mid range.
Dae Ga Korean BBQ is an average Korean restaurant when comparing to others found in Strathfield.
We ordered combination A for BBQ. It came with beef, chicken, pork belly and bulgogi for $70.
The taste of the meats were decent, however, the meat needed more marinade for extra flavour.
I might add that the chicken served is the softest chicken I have ever eaten! The BBQ plate had a small soup pot in the middle which was different and delicious!
The side dishes were average nothing spectacular, but not poor.

Have been several times and I Can't fault this place! The staff are very attentive and friendly and the food is amazing!! We always get the meat combo b which includes a few more marinated meats. It's $92 for 2 people and worth every cent! Definitely recommend!

Excellent local Korean place with all the favs (haemul pajeon, bbq, jjigae, bo ssam, hot pot etc etc).
We just went tonight and for a Sunday night off the main drag in Parramatta it was pretty busy for both eat in and takeaway (their menu says most of their food is available takeaway including hot pot!)
Fast service, high quality food.
We ordered haemul pajeon (seafood pancake), kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew), and sizzling teriyaki chicken.
The pancake was super crispy the way we like it and laden with little prawns and various seafood. Yummy sauce too.
Kimchi jjigae was delightful especially on a chilly night like tonight. The pork was a little too fatty...prefer the thin sliced pork belly usually anyways.
Teriyaki chicken was sticky and sweet and very yummy. Maybe not a 'traditional' dish to order but we would get it again.
Plenty of banchan (side dishes), no skimping on portions and tasty all around.
We spent $51 for two people including beer, so I think it's pretty good value. Definitely will come back and support their business!
Have been stinging for a fun lunch at BBQ for months now. Today was the day we hit up Dae Ga BBQ and i couldn't be more impressed. Friendly authentic atmosphere with a well priced menu. As i was in a group we chose the mixed meat and Seafood option which came to $91 dollars for the 3 of us. A platter of meat including ox tongue, lamb backstrap and pork ribs followed by a platter of prawns, muscles and baby squid. The friendly staff showed us what it was all about snd overall was a great lunch for all 3 of us. Would definitely recommend to other
I have been here a number of times now and its really good! The food portions here are seriously gigantic and very generous. My favourite is the seafood pancake - its so crunchy yet so soft in the middle. The only griff is that they say the fryer is broken so the KFC is not available...
We left this restaurant satisfied and full. It was definitely yummy and the service was attentive. The prices are as expected for korean bbq but the flavours were really nice. The pork belly was seasoned well and the other dishes left our party totally happy. Cant wait to go back, just have to save tho!
Casual. Authentic Korean. Inexpensive. Quick service. Food just wonderful. I'd recommend any of the noodle soups. Fried chicken also outstanding.
My 2nd time enjoying Korean BBQ here. Ordered BBQ combo for the 3 of us. Price is reasonable. Staff will prepare the food for you to cook. Cozy and not crowded. Nice friendly staff.
Seafood pancake was like deepfry but nice crispy and very tasty. I also enjoyed free sides very much
Amazing place. I'm a big eater and went solo (totally not traditional Korean style of dining) but I had no one else. I wanted the proper BBQ experience and noticed it was min two people. Despite being solo they still allowed me to have my Korean BBQ. All the meat was fresh, tender and delicious. Service was on point.
Would definitely suggest more so a group but solo works too. Enjoy guys!
The meat set was nice, and the flavours of the marinated meats were nice. However, service has gone down since my previous visit. The lady who barbecued our meat (we actually prefer to do it ourselves but that's fine) just threw the meat on the grill, with pieces overlapping and not getting a proper sear, as well as the meat juices splashed every where.
